Children raised in military families have a very different experience than those raised in civilian families. This research examines the social and emotional development of children in military and civilian households, rather than the common view that children of all ages have greater rates of emotional outbursts, anxiety, and depression symptoms. Emotional Intelligence (EI) and perceived nominal stress (NPS) questionnaires were used to gather data on 131 individuals, 66 of whom were from military families and 65 of whom were from civilian families. There was no difference in how military and civilian children coped with stress in this direct comparison, even though the military child's experiences may have a positive effect on their mental well-being. The child's well-being may be better understood if the parenting techniques and styles of the family are well understood.

Like any other criminal, most terrorists also have some psychological impact or trauma that made them become who they are. It is always curious to learn about why potential terrorists become actual terrorists, and what motivates them to commit the most violent crimes in nature like bomb blasting, suicide bombing, assassinations, hijackings etc. Most individuals focus on where, when and how crimes are happening, including terrorist activities, but there isn’t much focus on why they commit the crimes they do, which this paper has focused on. Some individuals also join terrorist groups with a suicidal ideation, which means wanting to commit suicide, and joining a terrorist group as a reason to commit suicide for personal gain. The aim of this review paper was to understand the psychology behind terrorists, the “why” factor of committing terrorist acts, and the ...

It was ordered after a 14-hour voluntary public curfew on 22 March, followed by enforcement of a series of regulations in the country's COVID-19 affected regions. The lockdown was placed when the number of confirmed positive coronavirus cases in India was approximately 500. The sudden prohibition on movement of the entire 1.3 billion population has caused disruption in the daily livelihood and social indulgence. After 2 months, the lockdown still is in motion and the population is stagnant. This stagnation has made them prone to many mental health issues which are to be identified. The focus of this study will be centered at understanding whether there has been any significant impact of COVID-19 pandemic and the prolonged lockdown that it has caused on the psychological...

These findings may extend to the concepts of relationships between loneliness, panic disorder and excessive gaming, which were seen fit as the two rising problems among during the Covid-19 lockdown period.

The focus of this study will be centered at understanding whether there has been any significant impact of COVID-19 pandemic and the prolonged lockdown that it has caused on the psychological well-being of married individuals who have lacked social contact from the outside world and have been working from home. Therefore, assessing the possibilities of married individuals showing the onset of sadistic tendencies against their spouses under the influence of anxiety based sadism, which could determine the prevalence of antagonistic social anxiety amidst Indian population. The results shown by both the scales(Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Variety of Sadistic Tendencies) in determining anxiety and sadism in married couples can be majorly said to be significant to the cognitively based predictions in determining the sadistic tendencies. The findings also contribute to the accumulation of knowledge in behavioral changes in couples during lockdown and may be useful in determining potential to establish links between strong aspects of direct sadism for both male and female partners early detected tendencies.
