In particular, India is amongst those that rank rather low in the attainment of gender equality and parity. This paper aims to provide provisions for a gender sensitive educational system by discussing the nuances of gender inequality. Moreover, it also discusses why it is necessary to bring about changes in the current educational system for a more gender sensitive society. In order to come up with approaches that would help with this process, relevant literature has been reviewed to ensure incorporation of a wider range of strategies to provide a gender sensitive learning environment. Gender disparity in literacy rates in India has been examined, and changes in the curriculum, extra-curricular activities, training for teachers, vocational training, etc. have been recommended. Constant monitoring of these practices and evaluation would maximise the benefits of an altered, more responsive system of Indian education. Attaining gender parity in education will not only build more considerate adults, but it is an important aspect of inclusive education. One can hope that it will prove to be helpful in educating students about issues related to the LGBTQ and transgender populations, and adding to a better and kinder society.

Impairment in memory may occur due to aging or due to neurological disorders such as stroke, dementia, traumatic brain injury and so on. Neurofeedback training is a technological advancement in the field of neuropsychological rehabilitation. It is a non-invasive technique that aims at resolving issues in the neural networks of the brain instead of repressing them. It is based on the concept of training one’s brain to control the different brain waves and involves strengthening as well as suppression of certain frequencies of brain waves. Neurofeedback training has found a major application in remediation of cognitive deficits as well as enhancement of memory functions. This aim of this paper is to briefly review the potential and the duality of the therapeutic role played by neurofeedback training in remediation of memory deficits and enhancement of memory in normal individual...

These two modes of information processing become the foundation for the development of differences in the functions of the two cerebral hemispheres. Each hemisphere has certain areas assigned with certain functions. The dominance of a particular processing mode in the brain of an individual gives rise to specific behavioural and personality characteristics. An individual may be excellent in performing certain tasks and may exhibit characteristics which would define his individuality, his identity and the dominant talent. These characteristics may be strongly correlated with the hemispheric dominance. Thus, it is considered that there may be a close link between hemisity and behavioural characteristics of an individual. This ...

In precise, this paper reviews the studies of eyewitness testimony and BEOS in particular. The previous empirical studies and review articles elucidate that BEOS can be used to overcome the effect of internal and external factors in eyewitness testimony. False memory or confabulatory experiences would not affect the accuracy of Brain Electrical Oscillation Signature Profiling. During the trial process, witness testimony can do through BEOS in the future. More empirical researches are necessary for the application of forensic psychology tools in the field of witness testimony.

It includes behavioral characteristics, both inherent and acquired, that distinguish one person from another and that can be observed in people's relations to the environment and to the social group. The American Psychological Association defines anxiety as “an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts, and physical changes such as increased blood pressure.” Introverts and extroverts experience the world – and experience anxiety – in markedly different ways. Some studies show that introverts are more vulnerable to anxiety hence at a greater risk of clinical depression. This study aims to find a relation between personality type and anxiety level of an individual. The study was conducted on 100 individuals (50 males and 50 females, ranging from the age group of 20–30 years) in which Eysenck's Personality Questionnaire-Revised was used to identify the personality type and Beck Anxiety Inventory, and a self-analysis questionnaire was used to measure the anxiety level of the individual. A comparison between both the test results revealed that individuals who are found to be extroverts indicate mild anxiety on the anxiety scale whereas individuals who are found to be introverts indicate high levels of anxiety on the anxiety scale. The accuracy of this research can however be determined through a more detailed research.

So in this research the correlation between bullying and risk of suicidal tendency is to be known. In this research, the researcher has conducted two psychological tests on adolescents and tried to find out the correlation between the total score obtained to know the correlation between bullying and risk of suicidal tendencies. Results: The results of this study shows that there is significantly positive correlation between bullying and risk of suicidal tendencies but this correlation very low.

Awareness of intention or need to act is different from awareness of action. We consider that all actions and responses have origin in the brain without awareness. The neural origin of the intended acts may take place seconds before the neural activity for the initiation of respective motor act starts in the motor cortex. However, individual can become aware of a need state and even build the drive to act. The paper presents a review of the findings of processes related to the origin of actions within the brain, proposes a model explaining initiation of action, and discusses the need to have greater understanding of the drive to act, and most importantly the need to learn to control the drive, which initiates actions. The model proposes that actions are initiated when the drive reaches certain critical level of potentiating (CLP). The only way to master control over initiation of actions is by learning to control the d...

It was ordered after a 14-hour voluntary public curfew on 22 March, followed by enforcement of a series of regulations in the country's COVID-19 affected regions. The lockdown was placed when the number of confirmed positive coronavirus cases in India was approximately 500. The sudden prohibition on movement of the entire 1.3 billion population has caused disruption in the daily livelihood and social indulgence. After 2 months, the lockdown still is in motion and the population is stagnant. This stagnation has made them prone to many mental health issues which are to be identified. The focus of this study will be centered at understanding whether there has been any significant impact of COVID-19 pandemic and the prolonged lockdown that it has caused on the psychological...
