Hey there, I'm Deemah

I am a passionate consultant, analyst, and educator at Pavlovska Bureau. I am interested in statistical programming, decision analysis, and philosophy. Known for my ability to simplify complex concepts, I bridge the gap between data and decision-making. I also enjoy exploring new ideas and sharing my insights with the community.

  • I am interested in learning how to use Julia's powerful optimization frameworks to develop flexible distributions for Bayesian Analysis
• 🚀 I am developing gilchrist - an experimental R package for constructing quantile functions using Gilchrist rules.
  • The package is a collection of function factories. I use magrittr pipe to process function objects, not data.
  • I use metaprogramming to modify the argument names in user-created functions.
• 🚀 I am preparing a data literacy course in Python without Pandas and Seaborn
  • Based on modern data analysts stack using plotnine, polars and duckdb
  • Covering environment management with uv and reproducible reports with Quarto
• 🚀 I am thinking of launching a Misframed podcast
  • Monthly conversations with philosophers, thinkers and researchers about consciousness, frames and decisions
  • Hosted on Youtube and eventually tricking down into Spotify as audio
