Combining data files loses the combined file · Issue #220 · nedbat/coveragepy (original) (raw)
If you combine a number of data files together, and then immediately combine them again, you end up with no data. The combining process does not use the combined file itself, so the second combine has no parallel files to use, and so overwrites the combined file with empty data.
Perhaps honor the -a switch on the combine command, as it does on the run command?
