Description

Linuxmint 20, Cinnamon desktop

I installed linuxbrew (see https://docs.brew.sh/Homebrew-on-Linux a cool software installer works on Mac OS as well )

It creates a non-user folder with some linux brew binaries under /home/linuxbrew. Here is their justification:

The installation script installs Homebrew to /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew using sudo if possible and in your home directory at ~/.linuxbrew otherwise. Homebrew does not use sudo after installation. Using /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew allows the use of more binary packages (bottles) than installing in your personal home directory.

Either way, I can add the folder in Filters and click Include option. However it does not get saved so does not get backed up!

Is there a fix or patch I can apply to allow that,
