Home / What’s On / Beyond Programme
Glasgow 2024 is extremely excited to announce that in collaboration with the City of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum we have arranged for acclaimed organist Roger Sayer to perform a recital of the score from the film Interstellar and other works on the pipe organ at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Roger worked on the composition of the Interstellar score with Hans Zimmer, recorded the original organ soundtrack of the film and has an unmatched passion for this piece of music.
The recital will take place on Wednesday, August 7th. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the concert starting at 7 p.m.
This will be a ticketed public event and there will be access to the museum galleries before the performance.
(Roger will be performing a second recital at the SEC during the convention, but this is a unique opportunity to hear the music in the very special environment of Kelvingrove.)
Tickets can be purchased here, with prices ranging from £15-20.
