Outdoor activities in crawley, SUSSEX
We are located in Tilgate Park. The park is jammed packed with things to do once you set your feet down on terra firma.
Have a breather and refuel in the Walled Garden café, before heading out to explore the heritage parkland and Nature Centre.
You’ll find beautiful lawns, lakes, heather gardens and a Peace Garden. Go and say hello to the animals in the Nature Centre which is home to mongoose, meerkats, reindeers and otters, to name but a few.
A large children’s play area overlooks the lake and you can hire family boats (rowing boats, canoes and double sit on top kayaks) or single boats (stand up paddle boards and sit on top kayaks) if you’d like to get out and about on the lake.
Up for more? There’s walking routes and cycle routes if you’d like to explore the beautiful parkland a little further.
Sit back and relax by the water’s edge if you fancy trying your hand at angling but if swinging a club is more your thing, then head over to the golf course.
