I have 2 addictions.Given where this is being posted, I think the first is pretty damned obvious ;) and coffee.I have felt, at various times guilty for these addictions.Then I realized.Gothador? I'm currently supporting 3 characters ($15 for me, my alt and a_triath). I might have upgraded one character yesterday *guilty grin*.. (I believe the appropriate commentary was my statement in IRC yesterday that I was, in fact, HCS's bitch).Coffee? Can now be obtained in 5 pound bags of organic, fair trade espresso roast goodness for $37 (god I love buying in bulk from local businesses that give discounts for pick-up). That should last me about a month.People spend way more than that total on cigarettes and booze in a month.Neither of these is going to kill me (though if I let the gothador addiction get worse it could loose me my child and husband, I don't see it getting that bad though, they're too awesome to ignore that much ;))Fuck it. I logged onto gothador (the game, not the LJ community) for the first time in ages and managed to get one character locked out of a quest, and minutes later, my other character was killed and robbed of more than 500,000 gold. The character who was robbed and killed has been looked after for weeks by a more dedicated player, who had been building up her bank account and levels - and I blew the stash in one move. In a fit of self-loathing I basically announced that I wasn't worthy to belong to the cult any more and handed twinkle over to the cult to do as they wished. I unsubscribed from the Yahoo group as well. I woke up today to some sarky messages from the cult leader who missed my point altogether - the character wasn't leaving, but I, the player, was stepping down. Bah. I mean, the only people who are gonna have any use for them are people just starting out, and the only people who have access to the Varo dungeons are supporters... so what's the point? It's getting to the point that there's a serious problem with tunic littering down here!Unless there's some fantastical use for cloth tunics that I'm missing out on here...
