Sometimes quick and simple sewing projects are all I really have time for. Ok, most of the time quick and simple sewing projects are all I have time for. It’s that time of year where you go through last year’s tank tops and discover they are all too short. This tutorial is perfect for refashioning those old tank tops or even t-shirts! An easy wrap tunic (or dress!) is both adorable and practical. I made the tunic length to go with these cute ruffle shorts (tutorial). I’m excited that this “sundress” is the first stop on the Sundress Series at Melly Sews!

Supplies:

• tank top or t-shirt (or make your own! The Anywhere Dress or these Summer Pajamas would work well for the top of this tunic)
• 1/2-1 yard of knit fabric with some stretch
• Sewing machine, thread, etc.
