The Centre for the Greek Language has been operating since 1994. It is a research institute situated in Thessaloniki. The Centre is administered and financed by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. It is co-supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.
