I notice a handful of posts from people about 2007. It seems that it didn't go well for many.

I have to say that some things went pretty catastrophically wrong last year - one, over Summer, was enough to put me firmly back into my shell for a couple of months. However, on the whole, it was a pretty damn good year.

I saw Iceland for the first time and loved every moment of it, I finally got to play on American rollercoasters, I got my L2 certification for flying high powered model rockets, and I went out and did stuff for most of the rest of the time.

I wouldn't have done these things, however, without the people who came with me. Thanks go to Ben et al in California, Cath and hatter in London, my ever-on-the-go colleagues and the inimitable Wood Green Massive. Special thanks go to lil' Matt though for being consistently enthusiastic and uncynical - I genuinely couldn't have done half of it without you.
