Currently, the air conditioning at work (we're in a sealed 6th floor office which ordinarily has no ventilation other than the aircon) is on the fritz. The office manager just emailed around to say that the engineer was looking at it (and claims that "it's a software problem") and we should open the emergency fire vents to let fresh air in. The response to this email was swift and geeky:

"If they're having software problems, surely it's a mistake to open Windows?"
