When we joined the queue for Cambridge Folk Festival tickets at 8:30am this morning (they go on sale from 10am) there were 320 people in front of us. By the time the box office opened there were at least that many behind us too. When we finally left, seven and a half hours later, the end of the queue was exactly where we had started. Given the box office closes at 6pm, a lot of people are going to have queued for naught.

However, for us, all is well. We got all the tickets we wanted. If you owe me money, can you either mail me a cheque, make a bank transfer or find me in person. I think everyone can find me via email, IM or IRC for the necessary details (rather than have me post them here).

I ache. It'll be worth it though.
