I know both of you know me, but in case anyone else has joined, here goes.

I'm Mazz, and I'm working with my third guide dog, a most lovely Golden Retriever yellow Labrador cross called Molly. Molly and I were trained at Guide Dogs QLD in August 2004, so we will be celebrating three wonderful years very soon. Miss Molly will also be turning five on July 14.

I have had two other guide dogs, my first little black Labrador Harmony from Guide Dogs Victoria. She was my guide dog for just short of seven years, and passed away five months later at nearly nine years old.

My second guide dog, also a black Lab, was Sapphire, a most adorable and happy girl. She was put to sleep on Monday as she went downhill due to lymphoma. Sapphie was my princess, and the most special dog of them all. I wish you all could have met her, as she really was such a vibrant little spirit, and always had a smile on her pretty black face and a wagging tail!
