Just wanted to let you guys know that my husband is visiting me on his vacation, so I've been taking a break from working on the site. As soon as he leaves I'll figure out once and for all how to get this site up.

Hey all -

Finally, *finally* this semester is over. I'm really sorry that I haven't been around... it's just been crazy for the past six weeks, really. Anywho, thank you guys for your patience and for all your hard work; my head is spinning after having taken a peak at the fic recs post!

I want to start working in earnest on the site layout throughout the next few days, as well as on a splash page. I'll do a few different layout versions (that's pretty easy with CSS), but with regard to the splash page - I just wanted to ask whether you guys have any particularly *favorite* B/F (or just Buffy and just Faith) pictures. If so, and if you feel like linking or sending (gmail can take it!), that will help me get a sense for what you guys want to *see* on the site.

Also, what should my first priority be for getting into the swing of things? Should I make it a point to go through the one-star recs and second the ones I'm in favor of? Or is there something more useful that I could be doing?

I very much doubt that anything will come up in the next couple of days that has to get done right now, but I wanted to let you know that I will be gone for the weekend. When I come back, I'll have even more Fuffy stories to suggest, etc. :)

I'll start working on the structure and style of the actual site, unless someone else would really dig that project. If you guys have ideas about color schemes that you like/don't like (what's a good B/F color scheme?), or layouts (Header, sidemenu, and text? Just a header? etc.) that you prefer/don't prefer, let me know. With CSS, just about anything is possible. I'll also be sure keep the Guild's wish for inter-browser compatability in mind!

Sweet. I need to go run some errands and get some work done at this point, but I'll make some more time for this tonight. Fun project!
