This study aims to determine the reasons for a wife to who does not t be polygamy, love the pictu... more This study aims to determine the reasons for a wife to who does not t be polygamy, love the picture before her husband's polygamous wife, picture of love after her husband's polygamous wives and wives love the development process of the husband. Love is the active force, which can break down the walls separating the individual with others. Love is divided into three components: intimacy, passion and commitment. The combination of this love of the three components will produce a different picture of love in polygamys wife. Polygamy is a situation where a man having more than one wife at the same time. Research method used was qualitative research method with type research of case studies. Research subject is an adult female 51-year-old associate. Based on research results, it can be seen that the subject received her husband's polygamy because it has a financial dependence and the need of the husband's role in making decisions for the family. The subject was also fear of the negative stigma from society and fear the psychological development of children if the subject and her husband divorced. Subject felt that her love for her husband to change. Before being polygamy, subjects sensed intimacy, passion, and a big commitment, so that the subject has a great love for her husband. However, when the husband had committed polygamy, the subject felt that her love had been betrayed by her husband. Nevertheless, the subject still loves him though the subject must be willing to share life with other wives of her husband. The subject still feeling the intimacy and the commitment of the husband, but the passion he felt had been reduced. Subjects experienced passionate love as the beginning of her marriage. Over time, the subject began to dare to express their idealism and expressed dislike of the behavior of a polygamous husband. Subjects also had wanted to divorce her husband but by considering the welfare of children, subjects received polygamous husband and decided to maintain the household and that's when the subject experienced romantic love. Furthermore, the subject tried to understand the behavior of the husband, received visits distribution systems that have been set by her husband and her emotions as best I could manage to household conditions and the condition of her children, remained awake. In this condition, subjects experienced companionate love to her husband.
