Title: Numbers Universe (multiple chapters, stand-alones and WIP)

Rating: G - R (language, implied adult situations - what you'd expect for a mafia series)
Warnings: Implied violence, implied sex, het/yuri/yaoi
Summary: It was dark and the bar was cascading with emotion. The nerves of the remaining patrons, all big guys, all ex-soldiers, were obviously hanging by bare threads as the Lady, also known as Eleven (and the number meant everything and nothing), paced the room as her guards held their machine guns defensively. There was no doubt they would shoot on command, and indiscriminately at that.

stoic_rose and I have been writing Gundam Wing fiction for a while and recently decided to collect our stories at 
constellation9. I'm always on the prowl for new and old stories with the Ozzies (having no small love for Nichol!). In case others feel the same, we wanted to offer what we had to gw_ozzies as well. We're a little unconventional at times, but we do love the show. Please enjoy.
Passover
Fandom: Gundam Wing
Characters: Zechs, allusions to Treize and 13/6 if you squint. Random guest appearances, including Wufei.
Rating: PG13
Warnings: Set just after the series, but pre-Endless Waltz. Standalone part of a future series (Treize Lives!TM).
Summary: Friendship is unnecessary; it has no survival value. Zechs lives, but that, too, is an oversimplification.

10 years have passed since the end of the series. The world has once again sunk into depths of violence. An attack by waiters at the president's masquerade ball that was to commemorate the decade of peace since the war resulted in the president's resignation and a new threat to our heroes. The second masquerade, celebrating Treize and Dorothy's wedding, saw an assassination attempt on Treize, running for president. With the cast still reconnecting after a decade apart, can they come together in time to stop more violence?
is a slightly dark, partly crack, forum Gundam Wing RP. Due to recent personnel losses, we are looking for new players to refill key positions as well as to take on new characters. If wanting to take over a character previously in use, we will give you the password via AIM or some other way; the Still Open topic will have background information the characters previously used. If wanting to take character with no account yet, we'll give you the go ahead to make it. You just have need to say hi first. AIM is the preferred method of communication. Original characters will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

I suppose this could be classified as an arc, although that was not my original intent when I first wrote Forgiven. It sort of has morphed this way and I suspect will continue along for a bit. Who knows? The muses, they can be so fickle at the worst times.

Title: Swords and Words: A Tale of Two Friends
Author: yaoifunboi
Pairing: 6x9 in the narration, 6+13 (friendship) in the flashback in this chapter. For the uninitiated this means that the adult Zechs narrating the flashback has a relationship with Noin, and that little Zechs and little Treize are friends.
Rating: G here. The rating could go as high as R later on.
Warnings: More cuteness then you could shake a stick at. (AKA Sap)
Summary: A holodocumentary about Treize Kushrenada makes Millardo Peacecraft reminisce about his relationship with Treize, and the time he spent under the name Zechs Marquise in general. Milllardo is speaking from memories, some of them terribly distant, and so this story will have something of the ephemeral quality of a memory.
Disclaimer: If I owned Gundam Wing, there’d be a wing of some place of higher learning named for me somewhere, and I would be on a Caribbean island, not enduring Ohio winters.

It being the season of assorted winter holidays, many groups seem to have challenges/contests/etc. going on. Even though we here at gw_ozzies always have some sort of theme (this month is Trant Clark), I thought it would be interesting to have some sort of group wishlist running as well. Both open-ended requests and fic/art prompts would be welcome, provided that they complied with community rules and regs.
Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on that? It wouldn’t be a challenge and no one would be obligated to take up a request or even make one; a lot of holiday things like this that I’ve seen have been ridiculously formal. This would not. It would, however, be an excellent opportunity to make a fellow OZzie very happy. :)
If y'all have any interest, of course.

Trant who? Lieutenant Trant Clark!
He's featured only in episodes 26 and 32, but he makes a huge impact on series in his own little way. We first meet Trant directly after Quatre's "zero" episode, when OZ still had control of Wing Zero and it's system. Trant was testing the system to figure out its purpose, and he's the one who discovered that it speeds up the pilot's reaction times, making them even faster than the mobile dolls. Tsuberov, not pleased to hear this about his babies, ordered Wing Zero (and Quatre and Heero, who were still captured) destroyed, but Trant went against orders and proceeded with his experiments.
He plugged Heero into the Zero system, probably asking himself what better test pilot than a gundam pilot, and things got out of hand when Heero started attacking the other suits in the hangar (we won't ask why Heero didn't have a controller on him, but that's GW for you. ;)). Heero naturally targetted OZ and everybody around him, Quatre burst in and (sort of) stopped Heero before things could get hairy. A subordinate reporting on the scene asked Trant if they should tell Tsuberov and get backup, but it's obvious at this point that Trant and Tsuberov are not friends, and Trant wants nothing to do with him, let alone knowing that he's going against orders.
Quatre and Heero make a getaway for Earth as Mercurious goes explodey, and then in episode 32, Trant is left to find another pilot after he starts hallucinating with the Zero system. It's interesting to note here that according to aboutgundamwing.com, in the manga, Trant is apparently friends with Hilde. One wonders if this is how Trant finds Duo as quickly as he does--he literally flies into Hilde's salvage yard with Wing Zero and points the buster rifle at Duo, ordering him to surrender. We both know Trant wouldn't fire the canon while in the colony, as it would kill them all, but Duo's options are still very limited. Thus, the poor lad is captured again after narrowly escaping the Lunar base only a few episodes back, and Trant plugs Duo into Zero and shoves him outside the colony surrounded by dolls, where Trant's come back smart enough to put a controller on Wing so that Duo can't repeat what Heero did to Trant's previous testing site.
Duo resists at first, naturally, but then he goes completely beserk and destroys everything, including the colony. Lucky for Trant, it was only a hallucination, and he's ecstatic over the test results. Tsuberov then finally tracts Trant down and interrupts the joy, however, and orders Trant to surrender both himself and Wing Zero. Duo leaves Zero, Trant hops right in his place and goes to battle. But Duo isn't done yet, and he's pissed as hell, so he gets in Deathscythe and chases after him. Trant and Duo do battle after Trant snaps, and goes his own brand of Zero. He gives Duo a fairly good beating, before Duo finally beats him when Trant's helmet cracks, mad as a hatter, floating in space. With the crack in the helmet, we assume Trant is dead, but Zechs survived Libra, so anything's possible.

Okay, noting my absence of late, you've probably noticed that I've been a bit busy. I need help, and I found girls (or they've found me, rather) to do it. Please give a nice round of love to arabianprincess, ie: woodlandelf and admiral_chowder! They will help Topi and I not let LJ's first Ozzie comm die on us. ;)
That said, I've finally got a computer running and it has internet and I'm happy, so I'm going to take a nap. Gyah. *falls over ded*

Hey, all. Much as I hate to do it, I have to let my cel of Treize go. I love it to bits, but he really deserves more attention than I can give him right now. I just haven't had the time to get him matted and framed, and I would far rather see him in the possession of someone who can.
So, what better place to show it than a group devoted to OZzies? (Though feel free to link this post in other communities.)
The cel is an absolutely gorgeous one from episode 8 (The Treize Assassination), from the scene in which Treize and Wufei duel (and the latter has his ass thoroughly kicked). A scan of the cel is here. It is on a backing board at the moment; any creases visible in the photograph are not in the cel itself.
Asking price is $125; you may contact me with an offer, of course, and we may be able to work something out. It really is a lovely piece. and as much as I hate to part with it, I'm just not doing it the justice that it deserves.
If someone takes it I'll be happy to include instructions concerning proper matting and framing. So comment, email (preventer dot lightning -at- gmail dot com), ping me on AIM. I just want to see him go to a good owner who will properly adore/worship/enslave themselves to him, etc.
I also have five GW doujinshi for sale, all either 6x13 or 13x6. One is an Ex volume, which is to say disturbing and cracky beyond belief, and one is Rose Coloured Angel from OZ Ohizumi Ten. I can't recall what the others are off the top of my head, sadly. XD; Drop a line, comment, ping, whatever if you're interested. (I have some other books as well that aren't GW but Ai no Kusabi, that are for sale as well, as well as a couple from FFVII and Fullmetal Alchemist.)

SO. First off, I am alive and feeling much, much better after a very extended period of illness. This is a good thing.
Secondly, recent random thoughts have gotten me to thinking about a subject, particularly in relation to GW - guilty pleasures. By this I mean a character or a pairing that you really, really like, and yet you don't share that liking with the world for whatever reason.
So, hopefully this is considered an appropriate post and an appropriate question (and if it's not, beat me over the head with a 2x4, and interpret that however you wish): What is your guilty OZzie pleasure? Inquiring minds want to know!
I think we all have our little guilty joys; I will admit that I own Disney Princess Barbies, Band-aids, hair brushes, t-shirts, refrigerator magnet 'paper' dolls, and a plush Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. Oh, and a cell phone fob of Belle. Also, I ate a Happy Meal for the Ariel toy it contained.
Not GW, but you get the picture! Something surprising, unexpected, what have you. Because wouldn't that be the most awesome monthly contest? Not a character, but a concept. I'd be more than happy to pitch in!
Also, anyone who has not been told and who can guess what mine is gets ten cookie points. XD
(Also, Cozz, if you still need someone else to help mod and come up with cracky ideas, I'd be happy to help. Now that I'm, you know, alive again.)

This is probably wrong. That’s probably why I wrote it. It was supposed to be a post for gw500, and was inspired by the prompt 'tie', but I missed the deadline to due various issues. You know, that obnoxious thing called real life... bah. It features Mariemaia being... herself, I hope. XD
