3:30p - My Opinion Gwen's StyleI'm just going to concentrate on her more recent styles...Everyone claims how she's so original when she says she takes ideas from other people. From Debbie Harry to Madonna, Fans at her shows to Cholas, etc..She has a different style, which can sometimes be cool, but I wouldn't call her original!* Return of Saturn - She was trying to be Debbie Harry.* Rock Steady - Madonna and Britney. 33 trying to be 17! Have you seen Madonna back in the day?! Lucky Star, Borderline, Like a Virgin?! Some of her style seems to mysteriously appear on Gwen, yet she was about 15 years ahead of Gwen! * Hey Baby Video - She was copying Veronica Lake. * The Southside Video - Someone mentioned the whole theme of the video was being fake. True. But she seemed to continue that theme after the video. The hair, make up sometimes, some of the jewelry, and of course, the nails! * Let Me Blow Your Mind - And don't the pants on Eve look like the future Rock Steady clothing. Someone from a No Doubt forum actually mentioned that one! Gwen as a Role Model/IdolGwen, to me does not seem like someone I would worship or idolize. I personally, would not call any celebrity my idol. I'd rather it be someone I know or someone that has done something! Gwen's whole goal in life seems to be getting married and having a kid. That's nice, but if you're a true feminist wouldn't you be against her beliefs?! She wants to sing about girls not getting to do stuff, but really, she wants to be a traditional girl. She says she doesn't like being called sexy, but then struts around in bikini tops. Gwennie and her Little LambsI just have to throw this in. Her new clothing line is called Lamb. I'm sure there is a deep meaning behind the name, but I just found the name amusing. But it was even more amusing to see Gwennabes call themselves Lambs. ...And everywhere that Gwennie went the lambs were sure to go...My OpinionTo me, Gwen just seems fake, insincere, and overrated!
