I was doing the math just now and it looks like there's a very realistic chance (a dominanting chance, in fact) that our dear Habs will be facing off against the Sens in the first round this year. The only way out of this dance would be if Philly beats Pittsburgh in regulation tomorrow, and we lose to the Leafs tonight (which I don't want to do).
Am I thinking too much of this? Do we seriously have a chance? Ottawa HAS dominated us this year (despite the last few games) - but this is the exact same reason I was hoping to face Philly or the Bruins in the first round this year.
Is anyone else fearing the Sens like me? They are beatable, for certain - we just seem to have poor luck in doing so this season.
