So really, what the heck was he thinking? I can't remember seeing anything like that happen for ANY team. Sometimes players put it in their own net, sure - even when it's on a delayed penalty call - but like that?

We should've won the game, obviously. But then again, this is why you play a full sixty minutes. O'Byrne's snafu was a back-breaker for sure - but I have been continually upset with our shootout performances lately. Not so much the goals we let in, but the ones we don't score ourselves.

Argh.
