I am slowly working on The Muggle House series but since I haven't posted any stories yet I seriously doubt anyone is in suspense or even cares.

I would like to become a beta reader if anyone is interested. I have no experience with that but I love to read and edit. I also feel that I am good at expressing myself and communicating, so hopefully I could provide writers with valuable feedback. I also have a lot of time to devote to this and will be able to return your work promptly.

LOOKING FOR NEW FRIENDS to psuedo-beta a new Harry Potter fanfic series I am starting called The Muggle House.

The setting is post-Hogwart's, post war, post death of Voldemort.

The pairings include: Fred/George/Caren (new character) this is not twincest - they share the same wife, Draco/Ginny, and Ron/Hermione. Harry Potter will start off single but there is a surprise in store.

This series will also deal with the children of these pairings and their experiences at Hogwart's.

So come on over to my journal and read my character descriptions and drabbles while I get this series written.

atalantapendrag @ 3:55am: Need characterization advice... please? Ok, so randomsalad and I started the Dyslexic Heart series. Remus/Percy, she mainly wrote Remus and I mainly wrote Percy. I am very, very fond of this series. pd_darragh and I wrote a story in the series that was Oliver/Percy. randomsalad and I have the Dyslexic Heart arc roughly mapped out, and we'd talked over what we wanted to go on in the next story... but right now randomsalad is busy with other things, so I'm trying to work on the series alone. I'm fairly confident writing Percy, but I've never really written Remus before, so I'm posting the beginning of the next Dyslexic Heart story in hopes that some of you can tell me if I'm being true to the character, and consistent with randomsalad's portrayal.

Here are the first Dyslexic Heart stories, if anyone feels the need for the full background... all are NC-17:

Critique: No Preference. But be honest, please. I can take it, I promise.
Word Count: 3944

This story was written after reading 'and you're free' by eudaimon. I want to thank her immensely for allowing me to play with a quote from 'and you're free' and revolving my fic around it. There is an excessive amount of italics and parentheses. Scenes could be fleshed out a tad bit more but it's all right as it is, I think. It took me long enough to write the fic anyway. Concrit is welcomed--please be honest.

The quote: “He does the only thing that he can. He tells Harry a story about four boys in school, magic, smoke screens and tricks of light, about a beautiful girl that they'd loved in different ways and a prince without a crown who did everything that he could and nothing that he said he would but was kind and gentle and universally adored.”

It mostly focuses around the "...about a beautiful girl that they'd loved in different ways..." Actually, that's basically the whole point of this fic but it doesn't sound right if I chop up the quote.

But I have found that Livia has her own ideas about where she wants to go next. Accordingly, there will be (I think) three more stories, although this one is likely to be the longest. It still stands as is, except for one change; Livia is now a year ahead of Harry, rather than a year behind.

Author's Note: Here is my first-ever fanfic (started in June '04). I had never had the inclination to write one until after reading OotP. I had mentally toyed with the idea of a love interest. Problem was, I wanted to abide by canon as much as I could. (God knows what other "liberties" have been taken with this genre)

So here it is. I really wanted to write this story as if it could be a part of HBP; hence the title. I don't know who the prince is, and I don't want to guess. *laugh* This is mainly their development.

That said, if the story tempo seems quick, please keep in mind that this is meant as a side story to be enveloped within the main one.

That said, critique/comment/question away!
