I'm always afraid to look for communities for small fandoms, in case I don't find any. VoH is probably one of my favourite series of all time (the original; haven't read Schelkunchik). So it's great to find that there actually is a comm!
It seems like there hasn't been any fic posted here in a long time, although wow is there some amazing fanart! Not sure if you guys are into it, but I thought I'd bring along some as an intro bonus.
Title: Drain the Ocean

Rating: PG-13
Notes: Set sometime after meeting Trom but before reaching Sforzando.
Summary: Dal Segno is a graveyard of a country, and Trom and Hamel don't deal well with graveyards. Flute and Raiel go on a trip, and she discovers that neither does he.

The new chapter of Hameln sequel ~Ai no Bolero~ is out at Puboo. The first 33 pages are free to look at, but last 10 pages are paid only. Don't worry, though, you *can* pay with paypal (though I haven't tried it myself yet. Anyone tried it before?)
Now, I've read somewhere the fairies from schelkunchik finally make their appearance at the end of this chapter.

Something different this time.
I finished a project that i started back in April last year.
I decided to make a BJD (Ball Jointed-Doll) for a VoH Character, he is almost complete and i wanted to show to the comm, since i wasn't able to put him in the Hameln-Group at deviantArt.

Hi there! first post!
I recently bought the complete hameln manga collection and it came with a drama cd.
I already listened to it and works perfectly, but I'd rather sale it to someone that would better appreciate it.
Thing is, I didn't see it on sale at ebay, so I don't know how much it costs.
I'm in argentina and only accept paypal. I'd like to earn around ~9 dollars for it, but I accept offers ;3

I actually had some time to do a fan art! Altho in all honesty it's just because I was pouting at Flash costing me 2 hours of work by crashing (partially my fault for not saving... but only partially! I'm putting this one on you, Flash)
decided to draw a scene i've been wanting to draw for a while. In my head it takes place directly after Anthem :o Thanks for looking.

I'm surprised this hasn't come up for discussion yet, so I thought I might as well break the news for those who don't know yet.
Schelkunchik's serialization in Young Gangan ended this Friday. Confirmation can be found on ANN and on Watanabe's blog. Having not seen the last chapter yet, I have no idea how things got wrapped up, or if there was even an attempt at wrapping it up (least Watanabe plans to continue the story under a different title *fingers crossed*). Until there's any credible news that the sequel will get a sequel I think it's safe to assume the current ending is final.
My question though, is what are your guys' reactions to this, and since we don't have the raws yet, how do you think the series will end? Personally I'm disappointed that the manga is ending so soon. Schelkunchik was what introduced me to VoH in the first place and while the story's mood can be bipolar at times, it was fun and interesting, and I wanted to see more of the characters and how they develop. It's not everyday that a two decades old manga gets a reboot, and I'm sure the fandom has some thoughts about the sequel ending just as things were starting to look really interesting.
