They told us to sign up for the work study jobs as soon as possible, before the non-first years get back on Monday. But a lot of offices seem to not be open on the weekend. Is that just tough luck for some of the jobs or will there be an exception with the offices for this weekend?

Here is a list of facts about me:
I am a girl
I have (mostly) really short hair.
Most of the aforementionned hair is blue.
I could not find a satisfactory trashcan for my dorm, so I made one out of trash.
I have an inexplicable fascination with robots.
I prefer to go by my nickname, "Indigo."
I have one box full of comic books, and another one full of trade paperbacks.
I am too shy for my own good.
I am making an effort to remedy this.
I would really like to be a cartoonist, but have so far failed to get myself motivated.
I hope to change this during college.
I have four pairs of safety goggles. (For no particular reason.)
I like to write. In fact, I spend a lot of my free time thinking about plots and developing characters and settings for stories.
I am terrified of spiders. (Most insects are okay, though.)
I probably want to be your friend. (Unless you are a spider.)
I am an ovo-lacto vegetarian.
No, I don't give a $@!& what you eat.
I try to avoid swearing.
Numbers 16 and 17 were related, in case you missed that.
Now I am worried that number 19 makes me sound pretentious.
I worry too much about offending other people.

I just found this commuity cause someone made a link to it on the discussion board. I'm basically posting as a way to procrastinate packing. Where's everyone from? I'm from the Boston area (specifically, a lil' city called Waltham) so I'm really not traveling that far (it's only an hour and 45 minutes away). Oh, P.S. Anyone living in Merrill C who'd be interested in jammin' sometime? I'm bringing my piano, guitar, jembai, and harmonica, so there better be some musically engineered hampsters living near by! (PLUS! All voices and/or ears are welcome at anytime)

All my comic books, Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales, Webster's Unabridged Dictionary, itty bitty books featuring classic works of literature (miniturized!), possibly some Diana Wynne Jones books, etc.

Every CD ever, CD player, art supplies, tablet, PS2, etc.
No Pets
I'll be leaving my snake with my parents until I can feel out the pet situation in the dorms. I've heard that no one really cares about terrarium pets and the like. Outlook: optimistic.
Food
I'm not entirely sure why my parents got me a mini-fridge, but I intend to use it.
Medical Supplies
Not much to say about this one.
You can tell a bit about a person by what they think is important enough to haul to school with them. Depending on how tiny our rooms are, I'll probably have to pare items off this list as I pack. (This list represents the ideal situation.) How are you guys doing with packing?

PS:My birthday is September 6th. All are invited to come by my room for random merrymaking. (Merrill C111, quiet, coed, substance-free) There will be cheap plastic party favors for the easily amused. There may even be cake/brownies/cookies/something of the sort. Help prevent the 6th from being the most depressing birthday ever!

So, I'm in Florida and going crazy because my housing stuff has yet to arrive.
But my bill as of yesterday reads, "MER B2L." Obviously I'm in Merril, but can anyone offer any insight about the B2L? Hall B maybe, room... 2L? I'm not sure. So, help?
