(intrinsic reward and leadership style) of knowledge sharing behavior among academician in Iran.
Approach: Primary data are collected via a questionnaire, which was adapted from previous literature.
Data, which were collected from lecturers in the 10 of the best university from Tehran, Shiraz,
Mashahd and Esfehan. Results: The results showed that an R² value of 0.191 indicating about 19. % of
the variation in behavior to share can be explained by Leadership style and Reward system. The model
is significant (F = 8.796, p< 0.01). Leadership style mentor was positively related to knowledge
sharing behavior (β = 0.326, p< 0.01) and leadership style facilitator was not related to knowledge
sharing behavior and so was Intrinsic Reward (β = 0.283, p< 0.01). The results of the study show that
reward system, leadership style (mentor) are the two key factors which influencing the knowledge
sharing behavior in the university. Discussion: This study is limited to Iranian academician. Hence,
impact of culture should be considered in future studies. It is advised that future research should be
designed for different countries in order to conduct a comparative study. Conclusion: These results
provide some information that is useful to policy makers in developing countries in general, and
particularly in Iran context by setting appropriate policies and strategies for promoting the knowledge
sharing based on two key factors as leadership style and reward system.

organizations and countries. The generation of innovations enables sustaining
competitive advantages. However, it requires high level technological capabilities. The
basis of the technological capabilities of an organization is built over time in a long
process of accumulation of knowledge. This process may be accelerated through
agreements of international transfers of technology. Several authors studied the
management of the international transfers of technology to understand the phenomenon
and to organize the debate about it. However little has been explored in terms of
technology transfer project management. The dissertation aims to identify and assess
the key elements involved in managing an international transfer of technology project in
the immunobiological sector in Brazil, generating as the main results an analysis of the
mechanisms of absorption throughout a complex project undertook by a official public
laboratory.

research conducted at non-profit research institutions or government laboratories
to the commercial sectors. Technology transfer has been a subject of considerable
interest to many groups, such as government policy makers, international funding
agencies and business executives. Technology transfer is a crucial and dynamic
factor in social and economic development. Sometimes a recipient has done much
better job than an original innovator. Different models are used to govern the
implementation of technology transfer activities and their application to
marketplace. Technology transfer is not only transferring the product but also the
use of knowledge and its application. Technology transfer may be accomplished
by diversity of agents, and through a variety of mechanisms. Agents may be
organizations in the receiving country such as business firms, government agencies,
or universities. Agents may also be the foreign organizations, such as firms,
foundations and also non-profit universities. Research and development plays a
vital role in creating these technologies, but not always benefits are transferred to
needy people and therefore need of technology transfer arises.

Using the Web of Science search engine, we extracted more than 6,000 papers from the Institute for Scientific Information database. Then, we selected 367 highly related journal papers and analyzed them with self-developed software. We found that the TT studies focused on international technology diffusion in the 1970s and 1980s. In particular, these studies used economic models to study TT activities and their impact on economic development at the global, national, and corporate levels. In the 1990s, with the emergence of technology management studies, research on TT emphasized technological issues, such as knowledge management, science and technology (S&T) policy, intellectual property rights management, and TT agents. The TT model in the 2000s (networking type) was more complicated than that in the 1970s (linear type). We successfully analyzed two major research tracks in our study; namely, the “economic” and “management of technology” tracks. The findings from our study will help scholars continue their work in each track. Finally, we also present the notion that there is no “one size fits all” TT model. We believe this is an issue that will lead to further studies.

develops a multi-model reference proposal in highly complex spectrum, under uncertainty and unpredictability, that
considers a sequence of systematic procedures in the following phases: Phase (i) Determining the information needs in
technology transfer; Phase 2: definition TTP; Phase 3: Identification of the barriers in technology transfer. Phase 4:
Evaluation barriers category technology; Phase 5: Determination of the effective of TTP; and Phase 6: Mental
Representation of the barriers in cognitive maps. This research is applied in industries high tech in Brazil. Several
support instruments were used in the modeling elaboration in order to reduce subjectivity in the results: psychometric
scales - Thurstone’s Law of Comparative Judgment (LCJ), multi-criteria; Multivariate Analysis; Artificial Neural
Networking (ANN); Neuro-fuzzy networks. The results produced are satisfactory, validating the proposed procedure.

technology transfer project, selecting technology, selecting recipients, and selecting method of
technology transfer. In this paper, we describe and prioritize technology transfer methods in
concrete road pavements, using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal
Solution (TOPSIS) model. Technology transfer’s attributes and alternatives are determined
using Delphi method and weight of each alternative is calculated using Entropy method. Results
shows, purchasing technical knowledge is the best method of technology transfer.
