Although the author discusses the result s in Arab learners' context, the information can be interpret ed in global context. This Paper has been inspired by Stephen Covey's Masterpiece, 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People' , however, the paper capitali zes mainly on the aut hor 's lengthy and deep experience in teaching a foreign language, one of the most challenging professions in the world. The paper stresses that if the habits that ar e included here are acquired and practi sed by teachers, the main out comes will be a mor e rewarding career and a delay in retirem ent. For students, there will be more excit ing and benefi cial English courses.

This paper presents some of the difficulties that adult Arab learners face in learning English. M... more This paper presents some of the difficulties that adult Arab learners face in learning English. Many of these difficulties result from the fact that Arabic and English have two different structures and two different systems. This situation of Arab learners versus English has rarely been approached by researchers and thus, the amount of information available for English teachers in the Arab World is inadequate. As a native speaker of Arabic, and a decades-long teacher of English, I have accumulated a wealth of information on the obstacles that Arab learners face in their attempts to learn English. I have presented the information in this paper at different institutions and conferences in the United Arab Emirates, but, of course with more details. I have written this paper in the anecdotal style that is based on my personal observation and certain primary research strategies.

It Explains how I discovered the method (STM), Its advantages and how you can construct your Lesson as a story. After using the method successfully, for decades, I came up with the hypothesis that (STM) has an amazing Impact on learners. I discovered after experimenting on classes that in the classes were I used the method, learning improved displayed by a remarkable increase in grades, a joyful atmosphere expressed by students' comments, and an improved attendance.
