Purpose This paper claims to identify the behavioral and cultural features that push to use, or n... more Purpose This paper claims to identify the behavioral and cultural features that push to use, or not, cryptocurrencies for electronic commerce. Indeed, despite the use of cryptocurrencies for electronic commerce spreading worldwide at a fast and growing pace, there are supporters and detractors among their users. The analysis of what distinguish these two groups of users is fundamental for understanding their different intention to use cryptocurrencies for electronic commerce. Design/methodology/approach A survey has been administered to 2,532 cryptocurrencies’ users across the USA and China, collecting data on their behavioral predispositions and cultural features. Results were then analyzed through structured equation modeling. Findings Results showed that while attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and herding behavior have a positive impact on the intention to use cryptocurrencies for electronic commerce, financial literacy has no influence. A survey has been administered to 275 Italian investors. Together with socio-demographic features (gender, income, age, and education), behavioral factors derived from the theory of planned behavior (attitude, subjective norm, and perceived control behavior) and from the financial behavior literature (illegal attitude, herding behavior, perceived risk, perceived benefit, and financial literacy) have been collected and analyzed. This research aims to evaluate the influence of EVP and social media use on the intention to apply for an IT job. Design/Methodology/Approach: The quantitative research method is used to verify the research model. The sample includes 240 valid respondents from HCMC, Vietnam. The research model includes six independent variables (5 values of EVP and social media use) affecting the intention to apply for a job through organisational reputation. Knowledge transfer effectiveness is considered one of the most important factors for ensuring the... more Knowledge transfer effectiveness is considered one of the most important factors for ensuring the success of any enterprise, especially for multinational enterprises. However, in the case of Japan, the effectiveness of knowledge transfer between Japanese managers and foreign employees is not high. This limited effectiveness is understood as linked to the cultural distance between Japanese managers and foreign employees. The main goal of this study is to explore the impact of organizational culture on knowledge transfer in Japanese enterprises. Quantitative survey research was conducted with 365 respondents, who are Vietnamese labourers working in Japan. Analysis showed that two factors had a positive impact on the effectiveness of knowledge transfer: cultural openness and managers' communication ability. The study draws on these results to make recommend improvements in the knowledge transfer process between Japanese managers and Vietnamese employees.

Cloud computing and E-learning are the inevitable trend of computational science in general, and ... more Cloud computing and E-learning are the inevitable trend of computational science in general, and information systems and technologies in specific. However, there are not many studies on the adoption of cloud-based E-learning systems. Moreover, while there are many papers on information system adoption as well as customer innovativeness, the innovativeness and adoption in the same model seems to be rare in the literature. The study combines the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) and consumer innovativeness on the adoption of E-learning systems based on cloud computing. A survey was conducted among 282 cloud-based E-learning participants and analyzed by structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that the adoption of cloud-based E-learning is influenced by performance expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, and habit. Interestingly, although innovativeness is not significant to use intention, it has a positive effect on E-learning usage which is relatively new in Vietnam.

E-learning is the application of IT and Internet in education to make it easier, spacious, and mo... more E-learning is the application of IT and Internet in education to make it easier, spacious, and more efficient. Advantages of e-learning are recognized, but its impact on learning achievement and knowledge transferring are not confirmed clearly. Learning is considered the skills of students and knowledge gained through experience in the training process. Learning achievement has been defined as students' knowledge, skills and study habits in a training course and effectiveness of their application to their work. Based on previous research, this study suggested that learning achievement as a dependent variable affected by the capacity factors, such as: Computer Self Efficacy, Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Face to Face Interaction, Email Interaction, and Social Presence. Besides, knowledge transfer is also affected by learning achievement. The study result showed that 3 factors: Easiness & Usefulness, E-mail Interaction, and Social Presence have positive impacts on Learning & Transferring knowledge through the e-learning system of Bach Khoa University (BKU). Based on analysis results, some managerial implications are suggested for improving the effectiveness of e-learning system at BKU.

I... more Nowadays, Social Networking Sites (SNSs) have attracted billions of users all around the world. In Vietnam, SNSs become more and more familiar with Vietnamese people and Facebook is the most popular SNS. Social Capital is an important term in the study and social behavior, an important sector in the major universities of the world. However, Social Capital is still very vague concept, not only for citizens but also for policy makers in Vietnam. There are a few of studies have examined the impact of SNSs to Social Capital and Knowledge Sharing through word of mouth in environment of SNSs (e-WOM) in Vietnam. Based on previous research model, this research examines whether the intensity of using SNSs has a positive impact on users' Social Capital, Knowledge Sharing and e-WOM. A survey was conducted with Facebook users in Vietnam. The regression analysis was utilized to examine the nine main hypotheses through a questionnaire designed which is based on the Likert five-point scale. The results show that the intensity of using SNSs raise the Trust and Identification dimension of Social Capital, especially the Trust, and these dimensions have positive effects to e-WOM Quality on SNSs. It also finds out that the e-WOM Quality impacts positively on Knowledge Sharing through SNSs environment in the context of Vietnam.

Knowledge management (KM) is a discipline that improves the ability of companies in solving probl... more Knowledge management (KM) is a discipline that improves the ability of companies in solving problem, adapt with changing in business, also helping them to gain and sustain their competitive advantages. This study is carried out with the objective to identify the measurement scale of KM practices, and to explore the impact of KM practice on the performance of small and medium enterprises in Vietnam. The data collection was analyzed by SPSS software with the sample size of 103. The participants are directors, managers and employees of Vietnamese SMEs. Analysis results showed that 3 main KM practices have positive impact on business success, including: Culture (0.321), Policy (0.099), and Knowledge acquisition (0.033), but the impact of Training on business success is not confirmed. The result also showed that there is a difference in understanding and applying KM across three categories of firm size: medium, small and very small enterprises. Some managerial implications have been suggested for managers of Vietnamese SMEs to enhance their performance based on KM approach in the future.

E-learning is the application of IT and Internet in education to make it easier, spacious, and mo... more E-learning is the application of IT and Internet in education to make it easier, spacious, and more efficient. Advantages of e-learning are recognized, but its impact on learning achievement and knowledge transferring are not confirmed clearly. Learning is considered the skills of students and knowledge gained through experience in the training process. Learning achievement has been defined as students' knowledge, skills and study habits in a training course and effectiveness of their application to their work. Based on previous research, this study suggested that learning achievement as a dependent variable affected by the capacity factors, such as: Computer Self Efficacy, Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Face to Face Interaction, Email Interaction, and Social Presence. Besides, knowledge transfer is also affected by learning achievement. The study result showed that 3 factors: Easiness & Usefulness, E-mail Interaction, and Social Presence have positive impacts on Learning & Transferring knowledge through the e-learning system of Bach Khoa University (BKU). Based on analysis results, some managerial implications are suggested for improving the effectiveness of e-learning system at BKU.

I... more Nowadays, Social Networking Sites (SNSs) have attracted billions of users all around the world. In Vietnam, SNSs become more and more familiar with Vietnamese people and Facebook is the most popular SNS. Social Capital is an important term in the study and social behavior, an important sector in the major universities of the world. However, Social Capital is still very vague concept, not only for citizens but also for policy makers in Vietnam. There are a few of studies have examined the impact of SNSs to Social Capital and Knowledge Sharing through word of mouth in environment of SNSs (e-WOM) in Vietnam. Based on previous research model, this research examines whether the intensity of using SNSs has a positive impact on users' Social Capital, Knowledge Sharing and e-WOM. A survey was conducted with Facebook users in Vietnam. The regression analysis was utilized to examine the nine main hypotheses through a questionnaire designed which is based on the Likert five-point scale. The results show that the intensity of using SNSs raise the Trust and Identification dimension of Social Capital, especially the Trust, and these dimensions have positive effects to e-WOM Quality on SNSs. It also finds out that the e-WOM Quality impacts positively on Knowledge Sharing through SNSs environment in the context of Vietnam.

Knowledge management (KM) is a discipline that improves the ability of companies in solving probl... more Knowledge management (KM) is a discipline that improves the ability of companies in solving problem, adapt with changing in business, also helping them to gain and sustain their competitive advantages. This study is carried out with the objective to identify the measurement scale of KM practices, and to explore the impact of KM practice on the performance of small and medium enterprises in Vietnam. The data collection was analyzed by SPSS software with the sample size of 103. The participants are directors, managers and employees of Vietnamese SMEs. Analysis results showed that 3 main KM practices have positive impact on business success, including: Culture (0.321), Policy (0.099), and Knowledge acquisition (0.033), but the impact of Training on business success is not confirmed. The result also showed that there is a difference in understanding and applying KM across three categories of firm size: medium, small and very small enterprises. Some managerial implications have been suggested for managers of Vietnamese SMEs to enhance their performance based on KM approach in the future.
