Learn more about what is included in a New York Times Games subscription.

With a New York Times Games subscription, you have access to all of The New York Times Word Games and Logic Puzzles These can be played on a web browser or on your mobile device with the Games app (for iOS and Android).

Note: New York Times Games subscriptions do not include e-reader editions, the annual Puzzle Mania special section, News, Cooking, Wirecutter, or The Athletic.

If you do not have a subscription that includes access to Games, you can still access:

The option to buy Puzzle Packs (either new puzzles or puzzles curated from our Archive) in the Games app

For current pricing and to subscribe online visit, nytimes.com/subscription/games. You can also subscribe through the Games app on your iOS or Android device. Keep in mind that smartphone and tablet devices need to be updated to the most recent operating system version in order to be compatible with the Games app.

Games is included with Home Delivery and All Access subscriptions.

If you purchased your Games subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, make sure you select Continue with Apple or Google when you log in or create your New York Times account. To play across multiple devices and web browsers, log in to your New York Times account.

If you are not logged into your account then all of your game progress will be stored locally on your device and not on your account which can cause you to lose your progress.

When you play games logged into your account:

Depending on your subscription type, you will be billed either every 28 days or every year (annually).

If you purchased your subscription through a third-party (such as Google Play or Apple App Store), you will need to contact the third-party directly for billing inquiries.
