This flow has been a rich material for addressing, observing and analysis in various fields of humanities and arts. Images of the influx of refugees' spread all over the world's newspapers, social media, and television screens; it has also become a reason for artists to react to this phenomenon and its human problems around the world and to carry out visual and mural treatments that may sensitize people to the refugee's suffering in his/her homeland as well as throughout their journey. Therefore, through what has come to be known as the 'art of migration,' this paper will review and analyze some visual arts, but especially graffiti and mural arts dealing with the flow of migrants issue, especially from the Middle East toward the West, while aiming to highlight the contemporary visual arts that speak up on behalf of the others concerning urgent human issues and bringing them up to societies.

After, the old crashed stained-glass windows were replaced with white glass panels, a new problem began to appear, as the amount of lighting inside the cathedral became very strong, it became obvious that there was a visual defect with a negative impact on the spiritual atmosphere that used to characterize the place. Hence, forward-thinking priests called for the opening of the churches to renowned modern artists to make a new revival of the aesthetic role of both ancient and modern cathedrals; thus, modern artists of this era had a major role in this issue; the strange about this was not the redesigning of stained glass in these cathedrals, the strange issue in here was the redesigning within the vision and on the hands of the modern-day artists who were famous for their spirit of rebellion against all traditions and known for their innovation in the language of visuals, which was rejected in form and core in the design and the application of sacred art in general, in all Christian worship buildings; this religious tolerance reached its climax when atheists artists or whom they belong to different faith took part in these works inside the cathedrals.
On one hand, the research sheds light on this period, the impact of this openness and religious tolerance on the revival of ancient religious architecture; on the other hand, it explores the beginning of the change in the sacred art's features in light of modern art; as well as the mutual influences between the aesthetics of glass arts and the styles of modern artists in the holy architecture. Although many opinions were not welcoming such experiences, these going-forward steps by the Catholic Church, especially in Europe, have became wider and continuous toward the employment of modern art. Therefore, the research follows up these experiments' influence on more stained glass contemporary art treatments in old cathedrals in other regions of Europe; between modern and contemporary, the researcher uses the historical, critical and analytical methods on these experiments, visually and aesthetically.
The research concludes some results that may be useful in local experiments, as there are many ancient holy places - Christian and Islamic - in Egypt in which a redesign for their ruined surfaces of stained glass can be applied, which may restore the original function of these surfaces, while conserving the character of this kind of buildings at the same time of reviving its spiritual and aesthetic role.

The Internet became the basic source of information and social media is now the main communication tool, especially for Arabic speaking countries, where it is used as a basic way to express opinions and share news and information.
Despite all disadvantages of this virtual life, like some or many misinformation or the spirit of violence in many discussions, social media has created a space of freedom to those who didn’t have the chance before, to see, to know and to practice new things in the world of communications.
That's why, I state that this article is not against the presence of social media in our lives, but as an objective of this article, there are a lot to be analyzed and discussed, in the aim of improving this media world, as well as the aim of deepening the global human understanding between East and West.

Much development has been since quite remarkable, with many effects on people and societies. And Street art, which is not to be imprisoned in galleries or museums where too many people have no access, has been a strong canal for feminist demands. It has awakened minds, brought freedom and inspired women around the world to revolt and to fight for their rights. It is still constantly reminding the world to take into account women's rights.
This article tries to highlight the role of Street art in diffusing feminist issues through the world but especially in the Arabic speaking world.

With such peculiarity, the image of Oriental but Muslim women in particular in the eyes of Western artists has been a controversial topic through modern and contemporary art history, colonialism, as well as contemporary media where visual language is used, especially when the Muslim woman representation seems to be embarrassing, offensive or stereotyped.
As an Oriental insider woman, the researcher aims to discuss this controversial issue; within a self reflection essay, she will discuss and attempt to answer the raised questions through an artistic, social, analytical and critical approach. The aim is to present different perspectives, bring them closer together, and clarify the ambiguities in understanding the other, in order to reach a different middle perspective and to contribute to creating better chances for coexistence between East and West in a world that is supposed to be one.

Abstract
In 2017, the researcher published a paper in the scientific conference of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo with the cooperation of Ierek publisher, entitled " Reflections of the Feminism in Contemporary Mural Painting between Occidental and Oriental societies" ; while working on this research she noted that treated feminist issues by female artists in Western societies have been diversified in their graffiti art, this case was not the same with the problems of eastern women, especially Egyptian ones; for the subjects presented by artists in Egypt and since 2011 were focusing in Egyptian graffiti works on harassment, personal liberty or independence of women, which is from the point of view of the researcher a kind of shallow social issues; for example she did not meet many of mass artworks that deal with more profound issues that affect the emotional and humanitarian construction of the Egyptian female in particular ... since such issues are considered "taboo" difficult to talk about or refer to, and from the researcher's point of view that this avoidance of deep issues of women in our society, it is no longer compatible with the development of age, especially contemporary art, which is concerned about social issues
One of the most serious of these problems, for example.. The problem of the diffusion of the practice of female genital circumcision in the Egyptian society, Egypt is the most country in terms of the number of girls who underwent the process around the world, despite the fact that the origin of this habit has nothing to do with the history of ancient Egypt (before the late civilized degeneration periods) nor with the Islamic or Christian beliefs, which the researcher discussed in detail in a previous study entitled (The lie of the "Pharaohs FGM") .
The researcher wondered about the reasons that may be behind this deficiency in expressing one of the most important problems of Egyptian women by artists, especially contemporary artists. What is meant here by Egyptian woman is that woman in rural areas, slums and poor communities before the woman who lives in the city and whose life is very different from First, it appears that the topic has dimensions related to customs, traditions and other restrictions that may be difficult for the artist to take up and present in public, which is a natural matter in an oriental society that tends to be religious and conservative and conceals the internal problems of homes, especially the problems of women, etc. But the researcher (as an artist as well) thinks that this deficiency should not prevent the artist from trying as long as he/she feels his responsibility towards the society in which he lives.. it is one of the most important roles of the mural painter who presents his art mainly for the public and not for the elite, the researcher believes that it is possible in light of contemporary social development and the openness that is taking place in increase .. It is possible to find or invent visual formulas through which the artwork can be presented so that it is acceptable, especially by the lower segments of society that need to receive intensified and diversified methods of awareness, they are the slides that spread this phenomenon more than other middle and upper social segments.
In her role as a university professor, the researcher sees that for young artists in the specialization who are studying the basics of the public art, its philosophy and techniques in the Mural Painting Division, if they do not have the right and duty together to address social issues as an expression and a reform of it..Who has it? They must also have a more effective social role and keep pace with the global artistic and intellectual challenges in a way that does not contradict the human values in their eastern societies; as global feminist issues have someone who speaks in its name, so there must be someone who speaks in the name of eastern women as well, especially Egyptian, from the point of view of the Egyptian woman herself, and thus the conversation shall be balanced, the Egyptian woman cannot be dependent on the ideas of the West without examining what she needs to talk about or explain to the world and to her own society
From the foregoing, and because the researcher has a special interest in feminist issues, the idea of presenting this issue with all its societal, historical, psychological, physiological and artistic dimensions emerged on a group of senior students in the mural painting division, as an artistic project that tests the extent to which they can interact with the issue, humanely first and then visually as it is basically a human issue.
because the topic in terms of its nature is a difficult topic to tackle and new in terms of trying, there are many feminist topics that the senior students dealt with individually, especially in their graduation projects, but the researcher does not remember seeing or hearing that this particular problem - a problem or phenomenon of female genital circumcision - has been done or addressed through a group art project for a group of students in any of the Faculties of Fine Arts in Egypt; therefore it is a subject that needs a high degree of preparation, study and research, and also a good level of preparation of the student psychologically, conceptually and visually, which is exactly what the researcher did with her students; she tries through this paper, theorizing her educational experience and the steps she has taken on scientific, technical and psychological grounds ... to finally reap a group of high-level artworks that were displayed in a special exhibition at the Cairo Atelier Gallery in June 2019 titled "Graffiti..no FGM", Where the exhibition received a good media coverage, and most importantly, it was to achieve the goal of research in breaking the barrier of fear and shame among young artists, especially female ones, to address sensitive issues in artistic works that offer aesthetics of a special kind and the ability to address public masses through awareness-raising and cultural indirect methods to address them with moral and humanitarian awareness, even religious

Public mural painting as an art and in all its various techniques, which are taught and practiced... more Public mural painting as an art and in all its various techniques, which are taught and practiced through the faculties of Fine Arts and technical colleges in Egypt, both at the level of academic artists and graduates, is considered one of the most important messages and aesthetic elements that can contribute to raising the public art appreciation in the Egyptian society; only if presented artworks are of a high level of sophistication, objectives, functions, aesthetics and techniques, all in an association with landscape and architecture. Here appears the importance of relationship between architecture and mural painting as one of the pillars and conditions that contribute to the success of such artworks in the delivery of messages as perfect as possible.
Problem of research: Through this papers, the researcher attempts to shed light on the relationship between contemporary public mural painting and architecture in Egyptian society by monitoring and identifying problems of mural painting in Egypt in terms of its role, which often comes second if not last especially concerning the planning of the artwork itself, its location and its function in relation with the surrounding architecture, which is not appropriate or - at the very least - limits the creative process of the artist, which is often invited to present his visual solutions after the completion of the entire architectural work, also these papers are addressing problems of public mural painting in Egypt in an analytic study in terms of organization and coordination with the society's culture.
The design of systematic mural artworks in developed societies is often laid out in conjunction with the architectural conception, or during the development of the architectural visuals, all through an integrated plan for the management and coordination of such works together in society ... which turns the design to an indivisible unit of architecture. This is what we can call "organic unity." This is evident in the overall design of the work (architecture, including all visual arts inside or in relation to it). Arts all appear in form, function and content in a complete and mature manner and have a direct access to the recipient and the society, in order to enrich artistic and aesthetic senses at the same time without conflict with required function.
The importance of this research lies in shedding light on problems of public mural painting in Egypt and the suffering due to the reduction of its role to the "decorating" function without paying attention to its objective and functional dimensions and its relation to architecture on the one hand and community classes, visually, culturally and functionally on the other hand.

Those who said that were based on several "facts" by which they wanted to prove wrong things or through which they fell into the trap of gross error, just like any common mistakes we deal with in our daily life as better than all right things but unusual!

The Italian architecture in the Egyptian city "Alexandria" during the cosmopolitan era, especiall... more The Italian architecture in the Egyptian city "Alexandria" during the cosmopolitan era, especially at the end of the 19th century as well as the first half of the 20th one has often been a good example of being a mother of arts, meaning that the Italian architecture by this time was very rich with all kinds of visual arts, all well presented and well studied in its aesthetic and functional goals, especially in the religious buildings.
Sacred Heart Church in "Ebrahimiah" district as one of the Holy Lands property on Egypt's soil…. Managed by Franciscans, is considered as a model for this previously written words about Italian architecture in Alexandria.
One can introduce this church as an icon of the Italian arts in the cosmopolitan Alexandria, its miscellaneous kinds of art works deserve a loyal documentation and analysis, some of these arts were designed especially for the church, they were not just a copy of similar arts around Italy; there is a proof in the analysis of the art works that the Italian artists and artisans were very aware of the different environment of Egyptian cities like Alexandria.
Worth mentioning too, that most of the artists or workshops names in my researches were not documented in any of known references, but were all observed directly from each art work or rarely from some neglected dusty documents in a building's basement or roof, just in case it was allowed to go here or there.
Objectives
In these papers, I try to present the Sacred Heart Church to be seen and observed, not just as a religious building that was realized as an Italian model, but to be seen in its precious details, details that are really making the core of the Sacred Heart church, because one cannot imagine this church without its arts whether exteriorly and of course and above all interiorly, and also because – and maybe this is more important – the lack of maintenance of this spectacular Italian artistic heritage in Egypt, it is obvious for the professional architects and artists that these kinds of arts are in great need for a continuous maintenance, which is not available anymore and since a long time, the matter that is putting them in great danger.
This danger has became clearer after the departure of the Italian or foreign Franciscan fathers & monks, they were more acquainted with the spirit of arts in churches than their Egyptian successors who seem to be more ascetic concerning the function of visual arts in such places; thus the way of treating these kinds of arts, especially the small and transportable pieces is unfortunately unbecoming; from here, this paper is taking its importance.

Art in general and mural painting as a public art in specific, are very eloquent tools to help present feminist causes to different societies. These societies vary from a nation to another, from a culture to another, depending on the extent of suffering that women endure and also depending on how strong the feminist movement is in that particular society. Despite the fact that feminism is a global movement, each society's identity is reflected differently in such kinds of arts, especially when looking at occidental and oriental worlds where ethics and traditions are distinctly different. These differences shall be normally reflected in contemporary public art, like in subjects, messages, styles, and even concerning the amount of the architectural or structural available areas for such kind of arts. This is what the researcher will try to clarify through a kind of analytical comparison between occidental and oriental societies concerning the feminist movement. This includes its murals as a public art, especially in Egypt where feminist public art can be considered limited, the matter that may lead to some significant conclusions about the importance of such art, its role and its effect on the society.

That's why, I state that this article is not against the presence of social media in our lives, but as an objective of this article, there are a lot to be analyzed and discussed, in the aim of improving this media world, as well as the aim of deepening the global human understanding between East and West.
This is a re-edited article, derived from a keynote speech on the occasion of the 8th International Scientific conference of Fine Arts Faculties:

This process was called by this name for uncertain reasons, but this label in itself spread false information that female genital mutilation had spread in ancient Egypt in this ugly way, and in this article, we have a set of facts that contradicts this lie.

Abstract:
Feminism as a global movement worked and still works on women's rights and liberation in different ways and using different tools; art in general and Street Art as public art in particular, are very eloquent tools to help introducing the causes of feminism to different societies; these causes may vary from nation to nation, from culture to culture according to the suffering issues of the woman in each culture.
The identity of each society is reflected differently in these types of public arts, especially when comparing between the western and eastern worlds where ethics and traditions are distinctly different.
In this context, this article is aiming to highlight the role of feminist street art in the Middle East countries with a special focus on Egypt as a model case, where feminist Street Art can be considered limited; the article highlights the importance of such art in bringing up the oriental women and girls voices and presenting them in different images than the worldwide diffused stereotyped ones, and also in the face of extremism and terrorism.
