We're still taking requests over in the Request Fest Post so don't think you've missed out. Ask for whatever you want! Make anything some one asks for! So go ahead and Request away and keep filling those requests, this won't work without you!!!

14 DAYS!!!!!
Time for the NEXT activity in our 2nd Heroes GleeWeek, the Request Fest!
Wishing you had a Heroes layout but wouldn't know where to begin? Always wanted to read that perfect Hiro and Ando in the Old West fic? Desperately seeking Sendhil/Ali icons? You can do any/all of the following things but don't want them for yourself? This is the event for you!
Comment here to request whatever Heroes thing that strikes your fancy (icons, fic, layout, moodtheme, fanmixes, vids, meta, tutrials, etc.) and your fellow fans will help try and fill those requests for you!
This request thread will be open for the rest of the week so request as much as you want. We'll be collecting the prompts into one giant master list and updating the list as requests are filled.
Be as general (Claire and her dad having a quiet afternoon) or as specific (Nathan takes a shower, bumps his head, gets amnesia and Peter has to use his powers to bring his memory back) as you want! Ask for personalized things (I'd love an icon that says "SYLAR ARMY REPRESENT!" and then flashes to a picture of Zach/Sylar eating ice cream!) etc etc.
(Remember to specify if there are certain things you don't want: incest, slash, het, etc. Otherwise if you asked for a Wild West AU and end up with Peter/Claire as Wild West bank robbers in love, don't be surprised.)
And keep in mind that this Request Fest won't work without you so take a look at the requests and see if you can make your fellow Heroes fans' dream come true!

ZOMG 16 DAYS!!!
Heeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy everybody! It's Heroes Gleeweek again! AGAIN, that's such a pretty, shiny word for fandom, ain't it?
Because "again" means 23+6 new episodes of Heroes plus Heroes: Origins. A new year of Graphic novels and commentaries and behind the scenes vids from NBC.com, and of Hana leading us around the Heroesverse with blog posts and links and options for interaction, and of Activating Evolution.org and Yamagato Fellowship and maybe Vote Petrelli and so much more. If you're new to Heroes, NBC has been fabulous about providing an entire user experience for our awesome show. So, check it out!
"Again" also means another season of squee and fic and icons and vids and fanart and OH-EM-GEE-HEROES! The best thing about that, though, is all the awesome people to share it with.
So, come one, come all, new to the fandom, been here since day 1, showed up some time in the middle - this thread is for you. Come on and hang with us!

We're looking at only 18 days until the Heroes Season 2 Premiere and I know we're all pretty damn excited. Ifigured I'd post the schedule of events we have planned here so everyone knows what we're doing and when.
-The Social Thread will be run over the weekend and into Monday (6th through the 10th)- It's a giant getting to know you post. Want more Heroes fans on your flist? Looking to promote your community/manip/fic? Come play with us!
-The Request Fest will run the week after that from the 10th till the 14th or 15th- Wishing you had a Heroes layout but wouldn't know where to begin? Always wanted to read that perfect Hiro and Ando in the Old West fic? Desperately seeking Sendhil/Ali icons? You can do any/all of the following things but don't want them for yourself? This is the event for you! -The Captioning Contest will run the 15th though the 17th- We'll be choosing screencaps and cast pictures for you to put funny captions on. We'll then vote and whoever's caption is funniest wins!
-The Massive Pimping post will run on the 18th and 19th- We'll be putting together a MASSIVE pimping post for all of our favorite Heroes fan work. Which fics would you reccommend to get some one into Heroes? Which icons must everyone see? Did a vid completely change the way you see any of the characters? Come tell us about it so we can compile it into a list.
-The Fannish Treasure Hunt will run on the 20th and 21st- You'll be given lines from each episode and you'll have to identify who said it and in which episode. Whoever guesses them all/the most WINS!
-Over the last weekend we'll be opening up another social post for people to squee, omgomg and re-watch episodes as we countdown to September 24th.
