So, in the interest of moving forward and expanding my knowledge/skill base of all things, I will be looking into the market for a digital art tablet. However before i do i would like to get the input of fellow artists on why they use whatever tablets and software that they do. Decisions on these things need to include features and pricing, as well as shopping deals from various retailers (as i am a broke college student). Please don't start a console war in the comments, please just state your opinions and reasons and keep it civil. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated, and if it helps to know, the computer i will be using

So today I turned 22 years old, and for my birthday the universe gave me a new start. I'm moved out of my parents house (in a manner of speaking) and living on a university campus in a new town where nobody knows my name... for now. And I'm okay with this. It's time for the hard work to begin, and with that comes new responsibilities and new opportunities.

Okay, so, I've been reading a lot over the past month, primarily Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series, and I finally got my hands on "A Memory of Light" (book 14 of the Wheel of Time series). The whole book was a page turner, as expected from the final volume. The last few chapter in particular had me freaking out, heart broken, scared, and crying tears of joy and sadness. A few implications were left int the last couple of pages for things that could possibly be written about in a new series, but I doubt the Brandon Sanderson has any true intentions to continue Jordan's work like that.
