Back in 2009, Dialogue in the Dark launched in Hong Kong, followed by the opening of Dialogue in the Dark Exhibition opened on 20 February 2010. Today, we are thrilled to celebrate 15 remarkable years! Dialogue in the Dark has evolved into a charitable organization dedicated to promoting social inclusion. Over the past 15 years, we have continuously evolved, innovated, and transformed to meet challenges head-on. We invite all our supporters and partners to join us in commemorating this significant milestone and to reflect on our achievements and contributions together. 🎉 The dinner will feature exciting programs and performances, including a Fireside Chat with Mr. John Tsang, Mr. Chong Chan-yau – Chairman of the Board, and other social innovators, to be hosted by Mr. Stephen Chan. 🔥 Additionally, there will be a variety of interactive booths for you to experience. 【The Little Prince in the Dark tour is officially launched to public🎉】 On 12 December, “The Little Prince in the Dark Launch Event” was successfully held at Dialogue Experience Place and is now open to the public! A heartfelt thank you to our event sponsor, MTR Corporation, for their generous support in making this event possible. Your commitment to inclusivity and community engagement is truly appreciated. Dialogue in the Dark is honored to have our Inclusive Partner - Little Prince Foundation and their Chairman, Ms. Noletta Chiu in the launch, and excited to have a deeper understanding towards the concept and message behind the experience. We were also delighted to have our voice cast, Mr. Andy Lai and Ms. Jocelyn Chan, share their experience of recording the voice-over of the Little Prince and the Rose. Our visually impaired team, Deputy CEO of DIDF - Mr. Peter Kam-Ho Wong Hong Kong (the Businessman) and funder of Theatre In The Dark - Mr. Comma Chan (the Geographer) joined hands with the stellar voice cast for this experience, leading the participants to explore the word of the Little Prince with hearts and showcasing different talents of each of us. We strongly believe People of Differences are able to be empowered to influence others by their voice. [#DialogueExtra📣 - Best of Bloomberg Day in Hong Kong] Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation is proud to have partnered with Bloomberg since 2021 to raise awareness about the challenges faced by the visually impaired community. We were honored to take part in the Best of Bloomberg Day at the Bloomberg office, where we joined other Corporate Philanthropy's charity partners to showcase our initiatives. Representing the Inclusion & Diversity community, our booth highlighted our mission to foster understanding, empathy, and support for individuals with visual impairments.🧑🏻🦯 We presented a unique challenge: 🧦 pairing socks while blindfolded. With eye masks ensuring complete occlusion, participants matched sock pairs without sight, gaining invaluable insight into the experiences of visually impaired individuals. This experience was both enlightening and impactful, fostering a deeper understanding of the challenges they face. [#DialogueExtra📣 – I&D Arena Carried Out with Excellence🎊] "I&D Arena", organized by Dialogue in the Dark, concluded successfully at the end of November. In celebration of our remarkable 15 years anniversary, Dialogue in the Dark proudly hosted its very first large-scale inclusive sports event. This milestone brought together corporate partners from the "Inclusive 100" initiative and People of Differences (PoDs) to champion inclusion through the power of sports 🎉 This extraordinary achievement would not have been possible without the steadfast support of our sponsors.
