Data in transmission is lost due to link failure or due to congestion and loss in packets, so the aim of this method is to protect data from these errors. Error detection coding and Error correction coding are two types of error control mechanism. Some of the error control mechanisms are Retransmission, Forward error correction, error concealment and error resilience. We are discussing a summary of three methods and Error Concealment in details.

Many methods are proposed to deal with this problem. Some of them are retransmission, forward error correction, error resilient, and error concealment. Image error concealment is a method of correcting an image at the receiving end by minimizing the error. in the proposed method copy of image is embedded in such a way that the embedded information can be recovered from the image even though if some embedded information is lost due to packet loss. In turn image can be corrected using the resultant embedded information derived from received image.

The future applications in wireless digital communication targets multimedia, messaging and high ... more The future applications in wireless digital communication targets multimedia, messaging and high speed internet access, all expressing the need for high speed accessing and modulation techniques so as to achieve high definition streaming for next generation. A novel type of high speed hybrid quadrature phase shift keying (H-QPSK) modulator and demodulator has been devised and constructed for use in digital communication link operating at giga bits per second transmission rate. The proposed H-QPSK technique gaining interest in providing reduced symbol error rate (SER) with reference to the energy-per-bit to noise power spectral density ratio (E b /N o ). In this work a performance analysis of H-QPSK over quadrature amplitude modulator (16 QAM) has been done so as to incorporate the hybrid modulation technique in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) for high definition streaming in next generation.

The main objective of any communication system is error free transmission with maximum possible data rate. Noisy communication channels are the major problems in this case. To overcome this problem one can use the channel coding along with the suitable modulation scheme. Thus the objective of Channel coding and modulation is to produce an appropriate signal waveform to cope with the noisy channel. Low density parity check (LDPC) codes are one of the best error correcting codes in today’s coding world and are known to approach the Shannon limit.
