Owen Wilson Attempts Suicide	[Saturday September 1st, 2007 at 10:31am]
In case you haven't seen the cover of this weeks People Magazine, Owen Wilson in recovering from an attempted suicide on the 26th of August. According to his close friends Wilson slashed his wrists and "almost didn't make it." Friends and family are unsure of what exactly caused this act of dispair but they feel it was not one specific event, but more of a series of event. However, personal friends say he has been withdrawn and dejected since his breakup with Kate Hudson and has been known to disappear for days at a time without telling anyone. This is the first time that Owens "dark side" has been shown to the public but according to those close to him, has been present for most of his life. Wilson's current state of health has put a hold on many of his upcoming projects. According to his rep, he wont be promosting his new film The Darjeeling Limited which comes out in late september. He has dropped out of the comedy Tropic Thunder, which would have co-starred Ben Stiller, and the fate of Marley & Me, co-starring Jennifer Aniston is still uncertain. I know that everyone's thoughts and prayers will be directed towards Owen in this difficult time in his life.

Actress Evangeline Lilly found the experience of having all her possessions destroyed when a fire swept through her home "really liberating and exciting." The Lost star's Hawaiian property burned to the ground in December 2006. Despite being homeless, the optimistic 27-year-old decided the blaze, which was caused by an electrical fault, was a good thing. She says, "It was a really liberating and exciting thing to happen. All that I lost were the things inside. I've always believed things are more of a chain than a vehicle. To not be tied down to anything was a great feeling. I was at work and I was like, 'So I've got the clothes on my back, my wallet and my car and that's everything I have in the world.' The "You're Beautiful" crooner recalls in British GQ: "I came back to the flat where my sister was staying and she was crying because she couldn't get to a funeral in Ireland. The planes were on strike, the ferry was out of season, and there were no trains." So he came up with an innovative solution to the problem. "I ended up whacking it on eBay: 'Damsel in distress seeks knight in shining armor! Desperate to get to a funeral in southern Ireland, please help!' The bids flooded in and the guy who won had a helicopter." And now, the fairy tale has a happily ever after ending: "He flew her to the funeral," Blunt says. "That was three years ago. This summer they're getting married. That was the stupidest thing I've ever sold on eBay – my sister." A rep for Blunt, 33, tells PEOPLE: "Yes it is true. They just recently got married." A retired FBI agent is asking that the investigation of Anna Nicole Smith's death be reopened because he believs she was murdered. He feels, that because of new evidence provided by Smith's nurse, that Smith's body was already dead when paramedics were called. This is contradictory to what was reported in the news, that Anna Nicole died later at the hospital. The retired agent believes that there has been some kind of coverup.

Anna Nicole Coverup???

A retired FBI agent is asking that the investigation of Anna Nicole Smith's death be reopened because he believs she was murdered. He feels, that because of new evidence provided by Smith's nurse, that Smith's body was already dead when paramedics were called. Friends say the actress chose the date in the middle of a hiatus from the medical drama, so she could get used to being Mrs. Kelley and take time to plan and prepare for her big day. An insider tells America's Life & Style magazine, "She'll be in the middle of a holiday break for her show, and she'll still have enough time after for a short honeymoon. Everyone is already so full of cheer just before Christmas, so, to throw in a wedding at that time - she just loved the idea. Her idea is to get married under this snow covered tent at her property with Josh in rural Utah. She wants glamour, so the dress is upscale. But she also wanted everything to feel down-to-earth, natural and beautiful." Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has dropped her appeal to revoke her jail sentence and has choosen to spend the remainder of her sentence in a jail facility. She is currently being housed a the Twin Towers Correctional Facility where she is undergoing psycological tests that will determine where she will serve the remainder of her sentence. Just before the weekend she was photographed in tears as she was driven in a squad car back to jail after being released to house arrest.
