Adopt A Character

When you choose a character you’d like to support, you’ll get the satisfaction of knowing you’ve contributed toward making the digital world more inclusive—as well as a custom digital badge you can add to your website or online profiles. The badges are an easy way to show and spread awareness of the importance of digital infrastructure—all the way down to the scripts it supports. Visit our Adopt a Character Page to learn more.

The Consortium is a non-profit organization, funded by membership fees and donations from individuals, corporations, and other organizations. Your donations help support the vital work of the Consortium, making modern software and computing systems support the widest range of human languages.
