It's been almost two years, I believe, since last we met. How about we pick our books once more and continue the meetings?

Yoav and I just moved into our new home, and I'd love to have the group back together again. Maybe even add some new people.

Meeting cancelled I regret to announce there will be no meeting today, as I have caught a cold, have a hoarse throat, and am spreading disease!

So I shall sequester myself at home and work on my Greek, and we can meet next Sunday, or in two weeks, whichever you prefer (we know what lopush prefers...:))

Meeting Tonight, delay We meet tonight, at Amir's office, to begin Sophocles's Oedipus Rex, but this one time I won't be able to make it before 20:15. So let's try to be there at 20:15, and we'll do the introduction and hopefully some of the beginning (perhaps up to the first episode).

Next Meeting: Sunday Dec 25th By popular decree, we meet this coming Sunday, Dec 25th, to begin Oedipus Rex (after a brief intro to Sophocles). 19:30 at Amir's office, as usual.

Oedipi Reges! Hullo.

I finally found Oedipus Rex in Dyonon [insert standard rant about this being supposed to be an academic book store], and bought one for Amir, as he requested.

Taking a chance, I bought two extra copies, assuming at least some of you don't have the text yet. The first two of you to say "moose!" can have these copies (they cost 54NIS apiece).

Meeting Thursday We meet as usual, on Thursday, at 19:30, in Amir's office at Ra'anana, to continue with Agamemnon. We might finish it in this session.

It's time to start thinking abour our next play, Sophocles's Oedipus Rex (Oidippous Tyrannos in the original Greek). I'm obviously no good in procuring copies for us. Would one of you be willing to undertake the task of getting everyone copies, collecting money, etc.?
