undeadrob A new social media web site has launched to educate and inform the world about the existence of zombies. LostZombies.com provides a platform for individuals to share videos, photos and other proof of zombie encounters. Once enough material has been gathered, Lost Zombies will use the information to create an educational, community-generated documentary on the subject. Friday the 13th, June 2008 -- LostZombies.com, a social media site dedicated to gathering definitive proof that zombies exist, announces its recent launch. Zombie videos, photos, reenactments and other submissions will be used to create a community-generated documentary to educate the public about the reality of zombies and a potential, if not imminent, zombie apocalypse. LostZombies.com "It's time for the world to wake up to a harsh reality - zombies are real. This site was created as a tool for individuals to post worldwide evidence of zombie attacks and outbreaks," says Skot Leach of Lost Zombies. "The content gathered by Lost Zombies members will be used to create the definitive documentary on zombies, which will help educate and inform the general public about this very real danger." Individuals who wish to share their evidence can become members of Lost Zombies by creating a free account. Members can also chat, comment on other users' evidence and discuss zombie outbreaks from around the world. Users can share information by adding submissions to an outbreak or creating an outbreak if one has not been previously reported. By creating or adding content to an outbreak, users are not only potentially saving lives, but contributing to the movement dedicated to revealing zombies as fact, not fiction. All content submissions to Lost Zombies must be zombie-related. Since its launch only a few weeks ago, Lost Zombies members have reported outbreaks in places such as New York City, Memphis, Atlanta, Northern California and Northern Wisconsin. Sightings have also been reported in locations around the world, including London, Copenhagen and Toronto. For more information about Lost Zombies, zombie outbreaks or the site's mission to create a community-generated documentary, visit www.LostZombies.com. ### (comment on this) |

2:58 pm - 30 Days of Night |
dna_outpost Just last night i went to the theaters to see 30 Days of Night and to my surprise it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. The movie had ups and downs but i was really surprised on how much gore and on screen violence they showed. Josh Hartnet did an amazing job in my opinion and took me off guard on what he can do with a serious role. The movie being based on a comic transferred nice into a real life movie. The characters were nice and built up fairly good and the vampires were brought up at an ok pace. Now onto some of the bad... I didn't like the cgi that was used on the vampires and they looked really bad. Im not sure why they all looked the same and there eyes... very bad! The noises they made were also kinda annoying and the one main vampire could have been played a lot better as well. Maybe they could have had a better story and purpose for them as well. He talked a bit but was very vague in what he was trying to get across. Also the ending was not to my liking. Don't get me wrong the movie was very fun but with these things held it back from being a must see. So now what did everyone else think of this movie? (comment on this) |

2:32 pm - I pitty your pocket book... |
captain_slinky This past weekend at an event known as "Shipwreck Day" in Anacortes, Washington, I stumbled across a guy selling the near complete inventory of an old Hollywood Video store.I ended up buying over 50 Horror flicks from him.And not just ANY horror flicks... OH NO! THESE are the type of horror flicks you never got to see in theaters and will most likely never see (or have trouble finding) on DVD!**( Click On The LJ Cut if this type of stuff interests you!> <a href=Collapse )**I'd say that at least 90% of these I have never heard of, and of that other 10% I've only read about them in the pages of Fangoria, Film Threat and/or other On-Line reviews of crappy-cheesy horror flicks. Out of all those films, I've only actually SEEN 4 of them. There's even a great Corey Feldman action flick in there!Gonna start posting these batches of 5 videos each on Ebay very very soon... link to follow.
