In the Search of the Top Ten (original) (raw)

AHHHHHHHH, When is it over please make it stop....

These were the thoughts running through my head as I watch this piece of horror filth. It's tagline

"The most visceral horror film ever made" this movie really doesn't do the live up to the hype.

It was boring, boarderline Softcore Porn with naked dead girls. I thought maybe it was me, but then my boyfriend hated it himself. I thought maybe I'm watching an edited version but IMDB clear it up, it wasn't be it was a sad attempt to be a very "controversial" film.

All in all I'm glad I didn't pay for this...

The Untold Story by Danny Lee and Herman Yau was based on a true crime that happened in Macau in 1985. The film is told in Cantonese and keep with the tradition of hardcore violence with humor.

The films is about Wong Chi Hang the owner of 8 immortals who is really a wanted criminal who escaped from Hong Kong during the 1970s after murdering someone in order to pay a debt.

Very first entry and I hope this community catches on.

Last night we finally got in Salo o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (Salo or 120 in Sodom) by Pier Paolo Pasolini.

The entire movie is in Italian and has English subtitles. Pasolini himself was murdered in 1975 prior to the release of Salo early 1976. Some say his death was caused by this movie.
There was a lot of hype to how disturbing this movie really was. Despite this I feel it fell short. I have no doubt of the genius Pasolini or what he was trying to present to his audience. The subject matter was very taboo for the time, including homosexuality and sex slaves.

All in all this movie did not make the top ten. Though Pier Pasolini was definitly a force to be reckon with.
