I know this community has been totally dead since there's been no news, but now that we have a Melanie, some of you talented icon makers should make some Saoirse Ronan/Melanie icons that we can all use. :D
All types of graphics welcome though, of course! Let's rev up this community again with some cast art!

This Portuguese site for The Host: Hospederios is stealing fanart and putting it in their gallery without permission or credit to the original artist. I've seen almost all the art that's in that gallery posted here, so I wanted to let you all know.
The e-mails of the webmasters are rafael@hospedeiros.com, renata@hospedeiros.com, and cinthiia_@hotmail.com. You can also use their contact form to get in touch with them. Even though they are Portuguese, I know they understand English.
It's up to you what you do, but I hate art stealing so I thought you all should know that your art is being posted without credit or permission. (I know that I'll be contacting them and asking them to take down my art.)

Thank you to those of you who have contacted me about the pornographic video posted here. I would have deleted it by now, but for some reason I can't see the post. The last post I see is the one I made titled "To all you wonderful members!"
I have no idea what is going on, but I'm working on it. I'm very sorry about this and if anyone has any ideas how this could be happening and how I could remedy it, please let me know in the comments.

I am sorry I have been totally neglecting this community. Of course you don't need my help to keep it running, just keep posting your magnificent art, still I'm sorry.
There is so much excellent work here that I would love to see in The Host Fan Gallery (for fanart). It's super easy to make an account there and upload your art so a wider audience can appreciate it. If you'd like your art displayed there but don't feel like you have time to make an account, send me a PM and I'll upload the piece(s) for you and put credit to your lj. (I've done this for a number of fan artists.)
Just a few reminders:
- As a mod at
the_host_novel I can tell you that you are welcome to post your work both here and there, if you are so inclined. (But please continue to post here!) - If your graphics posts are private or will become private in a certain number of days, please mention that in your post.
- Remember to tag your entries!
