For all Calgary Flames fans:Dion Phaneuf, defenceman, of the Calgary Flames is giving you and 15 friends (16 people total) a chance to spend some time on the ice with him. If you've been to the games, you've probably seen the masks being handed out at Pengrowth Stadium. It's a contest being run by Toyota, and it actually runs until the Flames get kicked out of the season. So I am a some kind of reading freak.I am here drinking some hot chocolate out of my Hogwarts/ Harry Potter over size mug.Cuddled under my HARRY POTTER blanket he is flying in a game and he is looking to grab a snitch.Reading the last book again. ( Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows )I need to get a life. But i cant stop reading and well I cant help crying I cry some where when i am reading these books.~ naomi

SO far as I have seen this is the only community dedicated solely to Canadians who love all things Harry Potter! Does everyone know that we will be hosting Prophecy 2007, in Toronto, from Aug. 3-5, 2007? Finally, the HP world will be on our doorstep. There are also three HP Meetups in Canada right now, in Mississauga, Calgary, and Vancouver. So remember everyone, if you know a fellow Canadian who loves HP, direct them our way. Spread the word. Let's show the world that when Canada talks fandom, we mean business!

Looking at the two books that haven’t been made into movies yet, who would you cast in the new or uncast roles? Is there anyone you would recast? Why? To add Canadian content, chose from British or Canadian actors. So… "Who Would You Cast As…?"

I had a thought...and I hope it's not OT or anything. It's about Hermione. Don't her parents mind that she spends all her summers with Ron's family? That girl is never home. [ mood \| awake ] I've been watching this community for a while and finally have something to post about. :)I'm gathering Ottawa HP fans for a HBP release party. The plan so far is to pick up our books at the Chapters across from the Rideau Centre and then head back to my place for a night of fun, food and reading aloud. If any here is from the Ottawa and would like to participate, we're more than happy to welcome new faces. If anyone wishes to spend the night, be aware that it will be on the floor, so just bring a sleeping bag! I suppose a brief introduction would also be in order. :)I'm Sheryll, 45, long time HP fan and HPFGU member, part of the planning team for last year's Convention Alley.

[ mood | awake ] I've been watching this community for a while and finally have something to post about. :)I'm gathering Ottawa HP fans for a HBP release party. The plan so far is to pick up our books at the Chapters across from the Rideau Centre and then head back to my place for a night of fun, food and reading aloud. If any here is from the Ottawa and would like to participate, we're more than happy to welcome new faces.
