Thank you so very much to everyone who is interested in hp_cr, but unfortunately this comm is inactive and therefore does not accept new members. Should we one day return, we will open membership once more. Thank you, and may the Nargles be with you.
HEY EVERYONE!
So it is now midnight, 366 (Yes! It was a leap year!) days since the final Harry Potter movie was released. I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to reunite and talk a bit. If you still check the site and talk to others who might not, please let them know! I know some of us have stayed in contact, and others have not as much as we would have liked. But now is your chance to catch up. Remember... we came together through a love for Harry Potter, and I love you all for that.

Hey all! It's been far too long.
To those of you that have tried to keep in contact with my recently and I have been quite MIA, I am extremely sorry. This semester has been insanely stressful to the point of multiple breakdowns. But on to better things...
The wonderful 
xhannahbethx decided to form the reunion, as the DVD release is coming. So if you're interested (which you all should be!) head over to 
hpcr_reunion for some fun. I'm a bit late to the party myself, but there are watch parties and a whole bunch of fun stuff!
Also, if you don't know about it, I think there's something all of you should see.
This is going to be epic.
I love you all, despite how it might seem at times. <3
And those of you waiting for Potter Life to pop back up... I'm not positive what's going on there. Our server switched and it got messed up and I haven't been able to fix it yet, not that I've had too much time to try, to be quite honest. I will send out a mass e-mail when/if it pops back up. I'm so sorry!

So, to the lucky people who found the Quill and have received their welcome email (including me yaaayyyy), what do you think so far? People who haven't gotten their email yet, how are you coping? Let's talk her for advice, reactions, comments and feelings. Also, there might be a way to help people get their welcome email faster. Come on down, let's talk it over!

It's been a while, but even with hp_cr and the movies coming to an end, we STILL have something to look forward to: Pottermore! It begins very soon, and we all want to get in early, yes?
Alrighty, so for anyone interested we'll use this post to share clues, discuss, guess, and work together to all get in early, because waiting is for Squibs.

So, we made it. Here we are. Tonight's the night it has all been leading up to.
Until 3:00 AM EST(that's 8 hours from now), this post is for preparation and anticipation only. No spoilers. Around 3 is when the East Coasters should be home and ready to talk, and others will at least in in their theater waiting, not reading the discussion.

Epilogue: Nineteen Years Later
Summary: Nineteen years after the war ended, the trio (plus Ginny) get to King's Cross station to send their kids off to Hogwarts, and we learn that nothing large has happened in the past nineteen years.

As much as some of us (well, at least me) don't want to admit it, we've hit the week of Deathly Hallows: Part 2's release. What are your plans? Are you going to a midnight showing? (If not, any idea when you'll see it? Or are you doing a pre-screening of some sort?) Do you have a special ritual you always do or a friend you always see the film with? Some sort of crazy treat you're going to make? (I suggest butterbeer cupcakes!) Let us know!
