What is hp_commonroom? Its a community for re-reading and discussing the Harry Potter books chapter by chapter leading up to the release of the last HP movie.

While we play Nutsy Bolts, we do it as characters from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. We do not follow canon explicitly (if ever), and we are not all that organized or strict. We're in it for the fun, the outrageous drama, and the complete non sirius business of it all.

Some characters have tumblr accounts, most do not. Anyone can be any character, there's no application process at all.

YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF HP_COMMONROOM though, because that's the only way you'll know when we're having games.

We don't do that anymore. I don't know why, but games are posted on tumblr now.

We play anywhere from 5-15 games a day, each new game is posted in the FFA comments at hp_cr. People come and go through each game, you never really know who you're going to get!

We hardly play the actual game anymore and just sit around and RP. We do have our own custom set of cards now that they're available and we sometimes play with them.

This community is a place for us to post our chat logs, recaps, catch ups, or anything else to keep us up to date with all the drama that we might miss.

Things you should know:

*LOWER CASE CANNOT CONTAIN LOUIS WEASLEY-WOOD!
*Reading rarely means reading, and bookmarks are more important then ever!
*Ghosts might as well be alive, even though they are still ghosts.
*Albus cannot type

On Posting Chats:
Feel free to post your own. =) Please Members Lock them. =) Make sure to put a date on them, if you've got it. Please put them under an lj-cut also. Try to add tags of character in the chat. Please take out all of the (out of character talk). And that's... basically it!

If I post a chat and there is someone in it whom I forgot to tag, let me know!

I am on here everyday, so if there's a spam issue or any other problems I'll see it when I come on.(Not that I'm expecting any. We're all pretty happy with keeping the drama epic and in RP.) If you want to send me a message, a PM on LJ works great! If you want me to edit a chat, go ahead and copy/paste it in a PM on LJ also.
