PQE Group, a leading global consulting firm specializing in Life Sciences, is proud to announce its participation in Project-COMFORT, an ambitious European Union-funded initiative to revol utionize blood collection methods and diagnostics. This groundbreaking project, launched in November 2024, brings together a consortium of 51 organizations to develop and implement patient-centric microsampling technologies.

Project-COMFORT, supported by the Innovative Health Initiative Joint Undertaking (IHI JU), seeks to address the limitations of traditional blood collection methods, such as venipuncture, which can be invasive, inconvenient, and inaccessible for many patients. By leveraging the power of microsampling, the project aims to:

• Simplify blood collection: Enable convenient blood sampling at home or other preferred locations.
• Reduce invasiveness: Minimize discomfort and pain associated with traditional blood draws.
• Increase accessibility: Improve healthcare access for underserved populations, including those in remote areas, the elderly, and children.

PQE Group’s Role

As a strategic partner within the Project-COMFORT consortium, PQE Group will contribute its deep expertise in Life Sciences consulting to advance the project’s objectives.
