[2 new rooms have appeared in Hueco Mundo, though there is a bit of distance between them.
The first room of interest doesn't appear to have a door, just an open archway. It looks into a small room that appears to be made out of rocks, ice, and snow. In the middle of the circular room is a pedestal with a large key that seems to be made entirely out of ice that is floating and rotating above it. However, if you try to enter the room, you run into a nearly-invisible ice wall.
The second room is some distance away, but there seems to be a chill in the air on the pathway between the two rooms, even though they are down different hallways. There are two clear doors in an archway. They have clear handles that allow them to be opened and are cold to the touch. On the ground are many blocks of ice, each with different letters and numbers on them. The letters appear to repeat, as if you'll need more than one of each. It's a rather large room, so there's plenty of letters. On the back wall there is an ice-covered plaque that reads "Now you can see a nice Ice Key which you can have for free".]
[OOC: So begins part 1 of a 3-part/week event. All results from the end of this event can carry on for the rest of the game and can be reversible if wished. ^_^ Part 2 will start next week if all goes well, the Ice Key will be put to use if you obtain it and wish to use it on part 2.]

[Merman Kaien is out somewhere in the desert, but he's not too far from Las Noches. There wasn't anything edible in the pond or anywhere near it, and Las Noches was probably out of the question as well, so the stubborn boy had used his arms to drag himself across the sand, looking for something to eat. Unfortunately, the rough surface of the white desert had scraped up his chest, his tail, and his hands. He was in rough shape, and a prime target for any Hollows passing through and looking for lunch.]
Current Mood: distressed
[After a while of being rather M.I.A. a certain ice witch seems to have stumbled back into Las Noches. She's looking pretty beaten up, and she may even be limping a little, but she has a bit of a manic grin on her face as she stalks the halls.]
So I'm back here... This place... There were some very curious people here.
[She laughs, then ends up hacking up some blood into one hand. She shakes the blood from her hand and continued wandering.]
Those girls... I'll find that guy with the 'gun' and that dog.. I'll find a way to bring them back with me... [She starts laughing again.] ...THEN they'll see!
Those girls... That bastard Viral... Yoko and Kittan and Gimmy... I'll show them all!
Current Mood: crazy
[Akane Kasai woke up in the hallway, finding herself lying flat on her back in the middle of that infernal castle. She sat up rapidly, patting herself to see if she was in one piece.
The last thing she remembered was being knocked unconscious by that Arrancar guy who had declared he was going to kill her.
Had she died again?
Akane curled up against the wall and closed her eyes. She didn't want to die anymore, she just wanted to be home, away from this horrible place.]
Current Mood: crushed
[Five days. Celty had spent five days here and she was already going completely insane. Yes, she had made a few "friends", and had found a place to keep her
horse bike
horse, but she had found the exit. There was nothing out there.
Nothing.
Just a small lake (with a monster of some kind in it) and sand. No roads, no signs of other civilizations. Nothing. Meaning no way back to Ikebukuro. She was trapped. Celty did not like being trapped. Especially not in a place where there was nothing to do. She was used to the excitement of the city. Things happening everywhere. Shizuo flinging around vending machines, Izaya
trolling
bothering everyone, Shinra being adorable and... kind of psychotic. She can't even find an internet connection.
This was going tobe a long, long entrapment, she was sure.
She's found herself wandering the halls of Las Noches again, this time sans horse-bike, though she's still wearing her bright yellow, terribly un-aerodynamic helmet. She's noticeably anxious, wishing she has someone, anyone familiar here. Shingen or Izaya would even be preferable to being alone.
..........Okay Izaya maybe. Maybe.]
Current Mood: aggravated
[He was back in his own lab a few seconds ago, doing nothing in particular. He had simply been poking and prodding at some things. He was a curious one, after all. He spent most of his time poking and prodding. And hanging out with brother.
However, he was no longer in his own lab. He recognized this place for what it was; this was still Hueco Mundo. It just wasn't his Hueco Mundo. Everything was quite a bit bigger, or maybe he was quite a bit smaller. He couldn't really tell. All he knew was he suddenly felt itty bitty compared to all of this.
And another thing, brother wasn't here. Not his brother, anyway. He could feel a vaguely similar presence, but that definitely wasn't his. Right then and there he felt like quite a bit of safety had just been ripped from him.]
(OOC: this is a somewhat Chibi-Szayel, yes. I can tell you this much for sure: he's a little shorter and a little more rounded in the face. Like a younger Szayel, I guess. It's still being worked on. I just want to get this out there. Also, expect bubblyness.
[Out of nowhere, into a wide hall inside Las Noches, comes a woman in a yellow helmet on a motorcycle. The weirdest part (so far at least) is that the bike is making horse noises. It hits the ground and she skids to a stop, then looks around.
This... isn't Ikebukuro. Did she take a wrong turn? She didn't remember getting on a highway. Oh god... Was she abducted by aliens?! Oh god she bets she was. Crap crap crap. She looks around frantically, trying to find the road she was driving on. there isn't one.
Crap crap crap.
She pulls out her cell phone, to find it has no signal. At least it still works, so she can communicate. She rode the bike slowly down the hallway, looking around, trying to figure out the weird stone building she was stuck in.]
Current Mood: anxious
For a while, Albedo had managed to keep himself entertained idly watching the comings and goings of Las Noches, but now he was getting bored. He still hadn't seen any sign of his other half and was in a less than pleasant mood because of it, though not quite so much that slaughtering mindless Hollows didn't help calm him down. But that was getting boring, he needed someone to bother. So the Fracción had taken to the halls of Las Noches, actively looking for someone to bother.
[Huddled in the black depths of the Novena's chambers is Knight. The room he's taken specifically for his den is both littered and decorated with bones. He's emaciated, eating only enough to survive but not enough to keep himself truly fed. He can't bring himself to enjoy eating, or much of anything else. Even sleep brought him no comfort.
This place is driving him insane. Between the memories he can't keep control of and the crippling loneliness... The loneliness! He slams his fist into a wall, breaking several of the small bones he'd glued there, knocking others free. It aches. The emptiness inside him aches and rips at what's left of him. He had a pack... A family... A mate. He'd been the perfect one. He'd become everything Kaien couldn't. Powerful, secure, happy. And he still desperately clung to those memories, trying to force them to the front, force everything else back. But it was impossible. Not while he was surrounded by these walls. In this place he was a shell of what he was in the last Nexus. A shell of what he had been with Kaien. A shell of his days as Metastacia. ...Metastacia.
The name caused him to hiss aloud. If only he could be that beast again. He always craved in those days, but he never hurt. Not like this. But he could never be those hollows again. Not so long as he was here, and alone, and suffering. Those names couldn't be his anymore. He would have to give himself a new name, to mark his new life. He had never chosen a name for himself before. His first name had come to him from somewhere, he couldn't remember where but it was not from himself. Princess had deemed him "Knight". If it were up to him, he would let Queen choose this new name, since she was the one he'd tied himself to. But she wasn't here. He couldn't reach her.
So, crouched on the pile of cushions that rest in the furthest corner of his nest, beyond the masks and ribs and femurs and any other bones he could get to create the winding path to his bed, blue eyes shone out into the dark as the returned Novena thought on what he would be called from here on.
And from nowhere, or maybe everywhere, the name came to him. It stung, and tore, and hurt more than the rest of the pain in him. But that's how he knew it was the name he needed. He let it carry aloud, echoing dimly through the dark, back at him, and it caused a grin to spread upon his face.]
I am Grendel.
Current Mood: anxious
[He's quite a sight this one... Just a mass of flickering black wandering through Las Noches, bottomless white eyes just staring at his surroundings. He knows just where he is, but none the less he seems a little lost.]
Sooooooooosukeeeeee...
[He whines out into the halls, peeking into doors.]
Sooooooooooooooooooooeukeeeeeeeeeeeee...
Where are youuuu?
[He keeps calling out into the halls, not having any particular destination as he shuffles along, seeming a bit like a bizarre lost child.]
...Is it all over? Why are the halls so empty?
Sosuke couldn't lose... Maybe everyone's napping before tea.
Current Mood: confused
[There is a white-haired man walking through the halls of Las Noches. He's carrying a heavy purple coat over one arm, looking around, not seeming very bothered about his location. He pauses now and then to examine something before muttering to himself and moving on.
He shifts the coat in his arm before digging into one of the pockets with his free hand, looking pleased as he finds what he was seeking.]
Current Mood: calm
[Among the white stone halls of Las Noches, the white figure didn't stick out much. All he knew, truly, was that it was not where he was supposed to be. A different place than where head been not long ago. There were no tanks full of fish or colorful decorations, no scent of his pack lingering in the halls... This place was full of, primarily, unfamiliar hollows, and then things he couldn't completely identify. Some were human, some were shinigami, others were something else entirely.
The strangest part was that even though he couldn't visually recognize his surroundings, everything was familiar. He knew what rest along and at the end of each hallway by vague mental description he remembered from--
He paused, standing up straight as he found himself in front of the doors to the hall Aizen used to meet with the espada. Where, through Kaien, Knight had once held the title of "Novena". He stared up at the doors, and somewhere in the back of his mind, for some uncertain reason, he felt panic rising in him.
All of the memories came flooding back at once, things he'd willed himself to forget once he had begun to live for himself again. And here, where he didn't have Kaien to balance the thoughts, Knight was unable to process all of the emotions Kaien's memories had saddled him with.
He slumped forward against the door, head in his hands, muttering and growling and snarling at the imaged and voices and feelings crowding his head.]
[ooc: I AM KICKING THIS PLACE BACK INTO GEAR. :| IT IS SUMMER AND WE ALL NEED TO ROCK OUT AND GET THIS PLACE MOVING AGAIN. TAG. POST. ROCK IT OUT DAMMIT!
For the record, he's retaining all BDR development, since I don't think it's possible for me to put him somewhere new without it without bringing Kaien in first and I don't feel like it. :|]
Current Mood: anxious
[A large black dragon wanders up to the lake Lugia had made outside and cautiously takes a drink. He's been wandering the desert for a while, so he's fairly covered with sand and seems a bit tired and a lot thirsty.]
Current Mood: exhausted
[Akane is sitting up with her back against the wall and her head resting on her knees. She's in the middle of one of the many hallways of Las Noches. She's snoring lightly and seems to be fairly deep asleep.
Her small reiatsu is even weaker than usual, she's exhausted and hungry.]

[Mun apologizes for lack of icons I'm working on sketches at the moment]
[Two figures can be seen walking the halls of of the lab. One is a boy of about seventeen with dark hair and glasses. He has a lightish tan skin tone though his accent is obviously British. His clothes are somewhat trendy and expensive, he has money.]
Oi, keep up, kid This place looks dangerous.
[The second figure is a young boy about ten though a bit small for his age. He has brown hair with a very red hue and freckles spattered across his face mainly around his nose his clothes are about a size too big. He quickens his pace hurrying up beside the older boy]
You sure? It just looks sort of empty to me.
[The older boy looks at him annoyed.]
Well of course it looks empty, you don't think dangerous people will be out there in the open do you? Look, just trust me , all right? [a sigh] Or has your brother convinced you that I'm the enemy?
[The younger boy falters]
Well...sort of....he said-
You know what? don't tell me,I don't care. Point is we're both stuck here and don't know this place we might as well put up with each other in order to stay safe and figure a way out of here. . and technically were..sort of...cousins I guess
[the younger boy looks up curiously]
So does this mean you really don't hate Skye?[The teenager starts mumbling something before he catches himself and starts going red]
Well hate is str- I-no-Just forget it it has nothing to do with you and it's none of your business. Just be a good boy and shut up okay? [the teenager sighs in annoyance as he continues looking around.] This place already sucks.
