The journey of healing begins with acceptance. Acceptance of ourselves and our world the way it is, banishing denial. Contained within are the stories of what happens from this point.
Healing starts with acceptance and is comprised mainly of cycles of breaking down the weaker structures and replacing them with the influx of better materials. It ends when the being is whole and once again growing and creating unencumbered. For every human being there is a different set of circumstances bringing them to the realization of the necessity for healing.
Humanity as a whole is hungry for healing of body/mind, emotions, and spirit. Everyone that takes healing to a previously unknown level greatly affects those immediately around them, and ultimately the entire field of human consciousness. We are currently in a state where this is happening so rapidly that major shifts are taking place every few months - have you been feeling them?
Whether you choose to begin your healing with the body/mind, emotions, or spirit, you inevitably will heal the other two, and will notice changes in them without direct effort. However, when more than one is worked on at the same time, the effect is a synergy of the two and both make greater progress than they would practiced alone.
Body/mind healing: Comprised of diet change, cleansing, and healthy building through being active. Therapies such as massage, Reiki, acupuncture, rolfing, chiropractic, etc, greatly compliment the healing. The deepest and thus most effective cleansing program I have found is from Arise and Shine. In his Liver book is outlined a program for cleansing the major blocks and rebuilding the major systems in the body (digestive tract, liver, gallbladder, heavy metals, parasites). Once this is accomplished, an extended fast can take us to even greater depths. To make your cleansing and rebuilding process effective a diet of primarily organic raw foods is necessary. However, to truly make the most of it a mono, fruit only diet is necessary (one kind of fruit only eaten for a day at a time or longer). What we put in is what we become.
Emotional Healing: Accomplished most effectively through hypnotherapy, shamanic journeying, sweat lodges, drum circles, contact with other people in the healing process, etc - anything that gets you to feel deeply enables you to root around and unearth buried feelings.
Spiritual healing: Yoga is very effective, and many people believe the yoga most efficient in leading to enlightenment is Kriya. The "oneness blessing" or Deeksha is also a wonderful experience for awakening. For truly deep introspection though, time spent alone in a highly natural place such as a wilderness or other untrammelled area is a wonderfully simple, highly effective way to dissolve stress and open the doors to the light.
Intuition is your lifelong guide and friend. It will direct you to the best course of action even when everyone around you is saying something else, including your own ego. And therein is the catch: the ego loves to masquerade as intuition. You know it is intuition if it is based in love. You know it is ego if it is based in fear (loneliness, depression, craving, anger, etc). Always remember a truly healthy person is always more effective in any activity than one who is not.
It is necessary for most people to cleanse at a pace rather than all at once. Too fast and the body may shut down or cause unnecessary damage. There will be cycles of much gain and then rest, sometimes returning to the unhealthy activities for short periods - but once intitiated, the cycles will not cease until the being is restored to a natural state.
This community has been set up for those making the healing journey to document their experiences, and for a community of support. Everyone's personal experience and open-mindedness is welcomed. Always remember that if you feel poorly at any time it is a call to heal something. There will be times of distress, and we are here to support each other through it.
