Background:

Tachibana Kippei's path as a Hunter began at fourteen years of age. His family was murdered by one of the undead, a Vampire that he had doubts about seeing. As a child, however, he could do nothing to investigate further and was returned to Kyuushuu to live with distant relatives.

Tachibana's distrust of the world festered during this time, and his high school years were riddled with anger and confusion. What he saw the night of his family's murder would never leave him, and when he was Imbued it came as more of a relief then anything else.

He left his Uncle's home just before his sixteenth birthday, swearing to hunt down the Vampire that had killed his family. He spent the next few years as a rogue, learning about his Edges, searching for clues, and studying his enemies. Kippei hates the supernatural, though he has a particular (and understandable) distaste for the Undead.

Now, at twenty-two, he has yet to find his family's murderer. He continues his seemingly endless search however, and hunts other supernatural beings to fund his own search.

His is a tortured soul.
