Thai Rapper BamBam Is Louis Vuitton's Newest House Ambassador (original) (raw)

Louis Vuitton has named Thai rapper and singer BamBam its latest House Ambassador.

The artist attended the French fashion house’s recent Fall/Winter 2024 menswear show at the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris, where eager fans gathered and waited at the venue to watch him enter. Thanks to the fan frenzy, the #BamBamXLVFW24 on X reached more than 2.1 million posts, making BamBam a highly-valuable asset for Louis Vuitton.

“I’m super happy to join Louis Vuitton as a House ambassador this time,” BamBam said in an announcement video on Louis Vuitton’s social channels. “What Pharrell is doing here is amazing. I’m super honored to be a part of it. It is going to be an exciting journey.”

BamBam made his professional debut in South Korea in 2014, as a member of the K-pop boyband GOT7. (Jackson Wang, another Louis Vuitton ambassador, also got his start in the group.) Seven years after his initial debut, BamBam went solo with his album, Ribbon, in 2021. Since then, he’s performed sold-out shows across Asia, and he’s now gearing up for the Latin American and European arms of his tour.
