_9:35 pm_[theblackfettish] Random poem I just made up. tell me what you think.. love to all. I'm feeling in random poetry mode..I catch your hand again,The thing I've been wanting to do for ages,My heart races,And the rollercoaster in my head runs riot.We get looks from peopleMaybe hatred, maybe jelousySometimes smiles. They don't really understand my love for you.The first time I kissed those painted black lips of yoursI shot up into the sky like a rocketCatching the stars on my way upNothing can stop me now.Kiss me! Kiss me! Kiss me again! My hands on your face stroking your milky skinI look deep into your eyesAnd I feel my whole body warming upI can still remember the way you looked that nightThe reflections from your dress, sparklingOnto our floor of glass in that beautiful moonlightTwo people touching lips, hands on each other's hipsWe waltz through the air,Never let this feeling endJust hold me tight, and let me whisper to youNever let me go, as I hold onto you forever.Every memory of you, stored carefully awayI remember your face when I put that necklace round your neckI remember that you flung your arms around mePlease don't ever let me go.Spending days in bedWatching the stars through the windowLaying in each others armsThe feel of your body against mineAll so many memories that will never be lost.I remember every smileEvery wordAll of you.Still we go out again,Into the town, have some funStill we get stared at.And I know it's because you're beautiful. But mostly it's becauseNot many people really understandOur choices in lifeOur same-sex relationship. _9:38 pm_[woofiegrrl] New Dyke Blog Hey everybody! I wanted to mention a fairly new blog that I'm running. It's designed for queer women and includes news, sex (oh yeah!), pop culture, health...and other stuff. It needs a little love, so please consider checking it out! It's called CyDy Blog and it's syndicated on LJ as cydyblog if you want to keep up with it. It's part of the Cyber Dyke Network, which features all kinds of women doing all kinds of things. It's by-lesbian, for-lesbian porn...for adults only of course! (Comment on this)

_12:34 pm_[diaphanous] RuPaul on Queer Nation Thought you’d be interested in this…The world’s premiere drag queen, RuPaul, will be a guest on Queer Nation on Renegade Talk Radio, The O-Zone with Petey-O and Jenny-O Monday, August 30 at 1 PM PST. The great part of this internet-only radio network is that it is not FCC-regulated, so it is a no-holds-barred format where anything goes! Check it out! (Comment on this)

_9:08 pm_[cherishyourname] the day of silence this is what my shirt says that im wearing tomorrow:"please understand my reasons for not speaknig today. i support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights. people who are silent today believe that laws and attitudes should be inclusive of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. the day of silence is to draw attention to those who have been silenced by hatred, oppression, and prejudice. think about the voices you are not hearing.what can you do to end the silence?" _3:24 pm_[bubbleofthought] I hope people don't mind me putting this here, because it's not directly related to feminism. If it's a problem, let me know and I'll take it off.The GSA at my school is planning an event for March 16th- we have created 250 letters to Governor Pataki urging him to allow same-sex marriages. The event is basically to raise awareness about the issue, and to get people to sign these letters. We are trying to think of a name for the event. So far, "Creating Freedom" and "Love knows no gender" have been two ideas. Any suggestions?X-posted to lots of communities (sorry)! (Comment on this)
