This research aims to analyze and explain the importance of diversification benefit of cryptocurr... more This research aims to analyze and explain the importance of diversification benefit of cryptocurrencies and its nature in accordance with its relation with other financial assets before and especially during the Covid-19 pandemic era. This paper will help investors to understand that how to manage a portfolio of cryptocurrencies in parallel with other financial assets and mainly cryptocurrencies since they were a safe investment option during the pandemic period due to the good defense these digital currencies activated against the covid-19 shock back in 2020. Paper used DCC-GARCH model to examine the safety of Bitcoin and Ethereum with financial market of S & P 500 and FTSE100.

Making correct financial decisions requires a certain level of financial literacy, namely knowled... more Making correct financial decisions requires a certain level of financial literacy, namely knowledge of different financial products and services and planning and managing personal finances, among others. While people with low to no financial literacy tend to have higher costs, like higher interest rate on their credits, a financially literate person is more likely to use financial services more cheaply and efficiently. This study evaluates the influence of number of socio economic and demographic factors like age, gender, income and education on level of financial literacy of people in Georgia, and the relationship between financial knowledge, financial attitude, and well-being.

The research studies the effects of empowerment types on the service quality perceptions of custo... more The research studies the effects of empowerment types on the service quality perceptions of customers among various small and medium enterprises in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The data was collected from dual channel; empowerment related questions were asked to the employees while service quality related questions were asked to the customers of the concerning enterprise. In total, 154 data were collected from employees and 200 from the customers. In the analysis, customers’ data was merged with the data from the employees in order to test the hypotheses. After the validity and the reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis was proposed to test the hypothesis. Based on the results, it was observed that psychological empowerment was negatively effecting the service quality perceptions of customers. The reasons and suggestions were added in the conclusion part.

This study examines the impact of bank-specific and macroeconomic determinants on the profitabili... more This study examines the impact of bank-specific and macroeconomic determinants on the profitability of commercial banks in Georgia, where banks tend to be the largest part of the financial system, with free market systems and liberalization policies similar to those in other transition economies, using panel data analysis and random forest method (RVI) is implemented as a robustness check. The profitability indicators return on asset (ROA), return on equity (ROE), and net interest margin (NIM), all of which have been extensively utilized as indicators of profitability in previous research, were employed. The research indicates that the three most significant bank-specific factors are net loans, nonperforming loans, and capital adequacy ratios. Other bank-specific factors such as asset size and liquidity ratio have statistically minor effects on bank profitability. The other macroeconomic determinant, inflation rate, has no effect on the profitability performance levels of the banks...

Beverage industry firms operating in Georgia were chosen as the sample. The study employed the partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) path model to test the hypotheses. The research data were obtained from the 319 employees of 18 businesses by using the survey technique form. According to the findings, market orientation and innovation have a significant and positive relationship with firm performance. A significant and positive relationship was also found between market orientation and innovation orientation. Furthermore, it was found that innovation is the significant mediator between market orientation and firm performance. The findings suggest that beverage firms in Georgia strongly perceive themselves as market-oriented and consider innovation as a crucial factor in enhancing their performance and competitive advantage. Furthermore, the overall costs of running a mining operation are substantially lower in Georgia. as Georgia takes place as the third biggest mining country in the world. The goal of this paper is to fill a deficiency in the existing literature that examines the present level of cryptocurrency acceptance, and adoption-influencing factors, offering an in-depth interpretation of these aspects and outlining certain problems associated with cryptocurrency adoption in Georgia. This study employs a quantitative approach, a total of 175 people did take part in the poll (out of 200 questionnaire respondents). The survey was held in a hybrid manner, with the questionnaire being distributed in April and May 2022 in various cryptocurrency-selling locations throughout Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Paper analyses the scale and technical efficiency of banks. The results show that banks efficiencies are not much changed in sample years, average efficiency is 0.67 while scale efficiency is 0.877. The results also reveal the input excess and output shortfalls. Banks in Georgia has highly input excess compared to results in other findings.

The main idea in current paper is to check the disclosure level in listed Georgian companies and ... more The main idea in current paper is to check the disclosure level in listed Georgian companies and to assess the speculated effect of various company peculiarities amount of voluntary or mandatory disclosure. A disclosure list containing 35 items were established to check the amount of disclosure in 50 companies' annual financial statements in 2018. The relationship between the amount of disclosure and various firm peculiarities was analyzed by the means of Ordinary Least Square regression. The outcomes demonstrated a positive association between voluntary information level and the independent variables such as profitability of firms, type of industry and board size. However unexpectedly, leverage was found to have negative significant association with the voluntary disclosure information.

I use a panel data model to look at bank-specific and macroeconomic factors in order to evaluate bank risk-taking using sample evidence from Georgian commercial banks. The time span chosen, 2006-2014, considers the impact of the country’s persistent financial and economic difficulties. I look at capitalization, efficiency, capital structure, size, profitability, non-deposit financing, economic growth, revenue diversification, industry concentration, interest rates, inflation, and as variables that influence bank risk.
