give and receive feedback on icons


彡 GUIDELINES/RULES* while these function more as guidelines for using this community,please try to follow them as much as possible ♦ This community is run on a give-and-take basis; that is, if you want advice/criticism for your icons, it is expected that you are willing to help others as well. If everyone joins expecting comments while refusing to give comments, then everyone is made unhappy, and the community dies. That being said, we cannot force members to comment, but the mods reserve the right to suspend your posting privileges if we notice someone is consistently posting asking for advice and never giving it.♦ All skill levels are welcome to post here. Whether you've been making icons for one week, one month, one year or ten, if you make icons and wish to receive advice and reviews, then you are welcome here. This also applies to review-giving; even if you are new to making icons, you are as encouraged to offer a review as someone who has been at it for years.♦ When requesting feedback, create a new post and share up to five icons. These do not have to be under a cut unless you feel the need to do so. We also accept feedback posts for color panels, friends only banners, journal headers, etc; these you may share up to two or three in your post and must* be behind a cut. Only one post per member per week is allowed, to discourage spamming in the community. If you wish for feedback on all of your icons, you may link back to your own journal/community in your post.♦ We suggest and encourage members to reply to at least three other posts in between their own postings; if you wish to comment in more than three, that is more than encouraged. This is not required, at least, as long as we notice there is sufficient commenting. If this is not the case, we may ask for members to link back to comments in their posts (in a similar fashion to how some stamping communities request this as well).♦ Please respect fellow members. No wank, no drama, no flaming, or you will be booted from the community.
