IdiotsAtWork's Journal (original) (raw)
20th June, 2002. 8:10 pm. What's going on?
For people both old and new to the site , here's an update on where things stand and where they are going.
1.) For now, at least, the site seems viewably mainly with Internet Exploiter. Anyone who has any idea why this is, or why some of the IE formatting problems occur, can feel free to reply and I'll send you the style sheets to look over.
2.) The search links in the upper right-hand corner still don't work, neither does the "view past issues" link. The "recent issues" links do work, however, and you can use them to read all the way back to the beginning of Volume 2. As soon as I can finish indexing Volume 1, we'll get the search features back online.
3.) Our crusade to get recognized by Google continues. This LJ community is spider-accessible, and I've been encouraging folks to link to us, but so far, no dice.
4.) The CafePress store looks great, but there's this huge "No Sale" sign in the register. Please remember that I have marked up the prices less than $1 for most items, and that I am only trying to recoup the annual domain name registry fee. Plus, the stuff is cool!
5.) There is no fifth thing!
Current mood:
accomplished.
